Kurobe Kanko Hotel

除了在何時服務員都很有禮貌外，當我離開時正值下雨，在我們沒有要求下職員自動邀請我們上車，載我們到車站。

6月半ばに夫婦で栂池に行く為、２泊しました。 ロケーションは、黒部、白馬には最適です。駐車場は屋外にありました。滞在中は、韓国、中国の観光客が大型バス３台で訪れており賑やかでした。 部屋は、バス、トイレが付いた10畳の和室でした。テレビは地デジとBS が見れ、エアコンも支障なく使えました。大浴場は露天があり、湯加減も良く、セイフティボックスもあり快適でした。食事は、朝夕ともビュッフェで、２日とも同じメニューでした。メニューはこれといった珍しい物は有りませんでしたが、食欲を満たすには十分でした。食器やコーヒーカップまでもが、プラスチックだったのは、学生食堂で食べているようで残念でした。

The hotel is a great stop after a day trip to Tateyama-Kurobe. Indoor and outdoor onsens are provided. It is really relaxing to have onsen after having a dinner buffet with various kind of local food, including crab leg and shrimp. Baggage delivery service is available from Toyama Station to this hotel. Hotel staff is helpful. Overall, it is a comfortable stay though a bit costly.

Very close to the bus stop to 信濃大町(kanno omachi station)or 扇澤(okisawa station), the entrance of Alps route of Japan. Can send luggages to Toyama while crossing Alps to the other side of the mountains. Good tasted and variable dishes buffet served. Though the hotel seems ancient, still maintained in good condition. Hot springs is in good Japanese style atmosphere with sauna. Will change the bath spaces for male and femile everyday, which are in wood's and stone's style. There's no shops open during the night time, even convenient store, better to bring all the things you want before arriving. The nearest convenient store costs at least 30 minutes to walk to and another 30 minutes back. Furthermore, the last bus from 信濃大町(kanno omachi station) depart at around 1700. If arrive at 信濃大町(kanno omachi station) after 1700 , the only way to the hotel is via taxi, costing around ¥2700-3300.

Be sure to enjoy the large hot springs baths at the hotel. Be prepared to sleep on futons over tatami mats. There are several attractions that you can easily access using the two circular bus routes in Omachi.

2mins walk to the bus stop, bus is serving the Shinano Omachi station to Ogizawa station route, ideal for those taking the Tateyama Alpine trip. Big Japanese style room, enough to accommodate at least 6pax in a room. Toilet and sink are inside the room, but no bathroom in the room. You can take a bath in the hotel onsen which is located at ground floor. Onsen for male and female are swapped everyday. Breakfast and dinner is buffet style, served at hotel dining hall. Standard varieties of Japanese foods and limited variaties of western foods. Dinner inclusive of unlimited serving of grilled beef, snow crab, sashimi, sushi, grilled fish. Alcohol is also served at additional charge. Luggage forwarding service is available at the hotel shop. Nothing much within walking distance from the hotel, except a small eatery which I didnt bother to check out since my package is inclusive of breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful hotel with good dinner (albeit pricey) and breakfast. Love the onsen and the tatami rooms. They even come in to set your futons for you when you are our for dinner. Great ending to the Alpine route visit!
