Not a 5 star hotel but Nice staff October 2025 This rates as a 5 star hotel? It is run down. It is max 3 stars and very expensive with 98 dollars a night! Tip: Nice location but definitely no 5 star. The place is old and run down. But service is good. Mr Shankar did everything to make us have a nice stay. The buffet was good. The cold section was very good! Try the Kimchi that was great!!!! Thanks to the nice staff

The construction that wasn’t communicated, and the roof terrace sunset drinks that go until way past 9pm. My room sounded like a club from 4-9pm

We absolutly enjoyed our stay @ Club Himalaya. We loved the charm of the buildings & grounds, & the fact that from the expansive viewing terrace, you can see the sun rise on the Himalayas towards Mt Everest, or back over the Kathmandu Valley! The large dining area serves delicous meals, or a short walk gets you to the village of Nagarkot where there are more resturants. We went to a viewing tower, plus a waterfall & a 250 mtr long suspension bridge. However if your just there to relax & take in the views, that can be done from your balcony or several areas both inside & in the spacious grounds. The indoor pool & heated spa also has great views through the large expanse of glass. Some of our group had stayed here before, & we'll be back!

We already knew that the location was great from it's reputation. However we also found that the staff were great as well. The whole complex is well maintained, & the cleanliness was 2nd to none! This hotel & the meals are expensive comparatively with Nepal, however still very affordable for tourists who want some R'n'R. The village with other resturants is a short walk away, & taxis & microvans are easily obtained by using the local Uber apps. We went to a view tower, & also a waterfall & a large suspension bridge in the area. However, if your there simply for some R'n'R, the views of the Himalayas, or to see sunrises or sunsets, your guaranteed that from your balcony, or from the viewing terrace on the top floor! Some of our group had stayed there before, & we will be returning!

Our room was in the Heritage Wing which is closest to the dining area and pool. The room was large and well appointed. The room included a closet, safe, seating area, and private balcony with seating. We had beautiful views of the mountains. There were more than enough outlets near the bed and treated water was provided for drinking. The breakfast buffet- included in the room rate- was more than generous with a huge array of options including made-to-order eggs. There was a pool and hot tub available as well. This is a great place to come to relax for a few days. There is full-service dinner available - buffet or a la carte- and a roof deck bar for evening views. The property is large with many places to sit and enjoy the view. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

This place has spectacular views, excellent food, an awesome beauty salon - you’ve got to have the Himalayan massage - and great rooms and staff. I found the bed less than comfortable, the pool and spa too cold and the bathroom outdated but overall I would definitely stay again.

Breathtaking views, with clean and well presented rooms. The free chiya during sunsets and sunrises was a great perk. Loved how wheelchair friendly the hotel was. To top it off the staff were so friendly and helpful. So relaxing, highly recommended.

My stay at Club Himalaya, Nagarkot was nothing short of magical.
