Great location, parking close by, bed very comfortable, room clean and had everything you needed for a 1 night stay, staff pleasant & welcoming

Paintwork in corridors could do with a touch up, some fruit would be nice at breakfast

No parking although some very close . We arrived back late and were assured staff available to let us in or a phone number to call. No phone number and member of staff not really on the ball to let us in . I was left thinking we were lucky with timing and wondered about some of our party who arrived later . But I think we jogged the staff’s memory to put up the telephone contact

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which really made a difference. The restaurant was excellent — the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. It was definitely the highlight of the hotel.

Unfortunately, the hotel itself didn’t live up to my expectations, especially considering the price of £150 per night. The room wasn’t impressive at all, and I even asked to have it changed or upgraded, but there wasn’t much improvement. Overall, the place felt below the standard I expected for this price range.

The staff were cheerful and helpful Room was nice and as described

First impressions going up the stairs and seeing our room door wasn’t as expected as looked tatty , in need of paint tidy up and bedroom door. Sent an email week before asking if possible to upgrade to the dinner bed & breakfast but had no reply sadly
