Hidden Lodge Queenstown

Absolutely loved our stay at Hidden Lodge! The views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables were simply breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded location made it feel like a true escape. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the rooms were beautifully designed—cozy, clean, and luxurious. Loved the gourmet breakfasts. Can’t recommend it enough—this place is a gem!

Everything. Amazing views. Wendy and David went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and special. Hot breakfast each morning got our days off to great starts. Wendy and David had great tips to share for places to go, things to see and do, and places to eat. Top notch. We will be back!

Stunning views of lake and mountains out every window! Chef-prepared cook-to-order breakfast (delicious!) We enjoyed the sauna, wood-fire hot tub, and plush robes. Comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling windows; I curled up there to read a good book and have a cup of tea in the evenings. Lodge had not many rooms, so it was quiet and felt very private. Staff was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend any higher.

Everything!! The space is beautifully furnished and every detail has been thought of. We booked the Tahi suite, which was was spacious with gorgeous furniture. It also had a great view of the lake and nice balcony. The bathroom was spacious with a heater and towel warmer. The best part was the service. It is run by a husband & wife who are both incredible hosts. They were very responsive, had great recommendations, and offer made-to-order breakfast. There is guaranteed parking

Our only regret is we did not stay longer! We hope to return to Hidden Lodge again in the future.

Amazing view from the room we had, and the included breakfast is fantastic. Room was large and comfortable, host was incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations for things to do and places to visit nearby.

The lady boss warmly received us on the day we checked in, and patiently helped us plan the attractions and called a taxi for us. The chef's skills are great and the breakfast is great. Thank you very much! It
