Great hotel! Very comfortable beds!

Rooms were a bit small. We ordered the Caesar Salad as a meal ant it was only lettuce, dressing, croutons & grated Parmesan, no egg, anchovies or bacon??? Just a bit disappointed 😢

It looked great in the picture. We were in an Annex room which had been cheaply converted to a low standard. Staff generally friendly, pleasant and efficient, let down by less than welcoming Reception. Food was very good.

The hotel could do with an experienced and discerning Manager to raise the overall standard which was “OK” but nothing more. Attention to detail and the potential improvements that a dynamic manager could achieve, would make this a much improved hotel. The lovely main building has great potential but would benefit from a sizeable cash inject.

Gorgeous view from the windows, good bed, nearby access to nature and supermarket

Toilet seat was not mounted securely. Warning about smoke alarm being sensitive to water vapor made steaming clothes complicated.
