Needs a little make over.. Furniture is tired

Kettle woukdnt fit in bathroom sink to fill.. Coffee wasn't very tastefull

Fijn bed, heel schoon, heel vriendelijk personeel in zowel bediening als schoonmaak. Prachtige tuin en mooie omgeving. Ik vond flesjes water en koekjes in kamer ook erg leuk:)

We zaten in de lodge beneden en die was redelijk donker. Ik miste (meer) daglicht. Verder ruime kamer met fijne douche. En ik miste haakjes waar je wat aan kan ophangen.

Character and staff

Staff were great. Lovely setting. Tops marks to the Gardiner... no weeds anywhere and the garden looked very tidy.

Quite a difference between the quality of the two rooms we had.

The rooms were cleaned regular. The staff went above the call of duty to accommodate us. I will be staying here again.

Our room was very dusty. Furniture old, tatty and mismatched. Bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Stains on bedding. Bathroom not clean and we complained about toilet which was black from water line down. This was cleaned later. Food basic often running out of poor buffet breakfast. Definitely not worth the money we spent. Bar was not manned we had to find someone to serve us. No information book in our room and receptionist miserable. Would not recommend and will not return.

Choices at breakfast were excellent and freshly cooked to perfection. We took our dog with us and they're not allowed in the dining room so the staff laid a table for us in the bar. The location is very quiet and secluded.
