Crestview Inn

The location was convenient from the highway and our main focus was to get rested for the next day of driving. The room was clean and so were the beds, There was a restaurant located nearby, but we did not take advantage of it. Overall, it provided what we needed.

There were too many people hanging outside, but I believe it was because of the no smoking policy for the rooms. It ded make it inconvenient to navigate around them since I get migraine headaches from the fumes and that would have been a problem with the next 500 miles of our drive. Such is life.

The absolute worst I could've ever imagine. Housekeeping was terrible to us. Yelled and screamed for us to get out at check out time. I couldn't believe it! Made us really feel like we were being evicted and not just checking out. We were quit and took very good care of the room only to have been treated such-a-way. Think twice before you stay here. I never write reviews especially a bad one, but something had to be done to let people know. So heads up to those thinking that this motel is cheaper so it will be fine! keep driving to the next one.

The owner was stinking like hell as if he didn't had a shower for ages. The rooms were all dirty and the paint on walls was chipping off. There were rats, cockroaches and bed bugs due to which I checked out within an hour. When I went to the reception with complaint the owner was busy cussing as well as fighting with someone on his computer and didn't pay any attention to my complaint. When I insisted him to solve my issue he started passing vulgar comments on me and was verbally abusing me and my family. Totally ridiculous. NEVER EVER GONNA STAY HERE AGAIN.

Dead flies in window. Old roll/crank windows with no curtains. Holes in and missing pieces in mini blinds. 3 buckets in bathroom for leak in pipes. Fridge didn't work. crappy A/C unit. They refuse to all me a do not disturb sign. I was told the cleaning times and that I must answer them within 5 minutes of knocking ....( or what??). What if I was showering....would they let themselves in? There was a weird door in the room that was locked, I had no idea what was behind it or if there was a way to get into the room from the other side of the door. I have been to dozens of hotels and this was the worst I have ever seen.

My Toyota truck broke down on the nearby interstate I-10, while heading back to Fort Lauderdale on an extended road trip. All the area hotels were full, because of people evacuating from the west, from the oncoming path of Hurricane Ida. Joe, the tow truck driver; went to the time and trouble to find a room for me, and my two pet rabbits; here at the Crestview Inn. My room was very clean and well maintained, and the bed very comfortable. The tube TV was antiquated, but I didn’t care. The shower nozzle was excellent with a steady stream, unlike the low pressure one in so many other hotels. I stayed for three nights until the rain let down enough for Joe’s friend to replace my alternator. The couple that own the place, were very friendly and accommodating, and sympathetic to my situation. I highly recommend this place, if you are looking for simple clean accommodations.
