Crestview Inn

I drove down from Atlanta on business and was fortunate for find an affordable accommodation for the week. My non-smoking room was clean, nicely painted, and met my needs. The Free WI-FI was a plus. The bath was clean and spotless. I did not see a single bug either. The bed was better than some Airbnbs I've stayed in. There were not many guests mid-July so the motel was nicely quiet. I also liked the price.

This place is a dump,stayed there for one night the owner cleaner lady came knocking on our door at 7 in the morning, she is so rude.The place was nasty tv old fridge does not work old fan,wall ac not cooling beaware poeple don't waste your money .

We were very happy with the room. It was small and dated but very clean. Amenities included a microwave, refrigerator, table with 2 chairs. Nice place for a reasonable price. We would stay here again if given the opportunity.

This hotel is a bit of a dump and is not clean. Better options exist in Crestview, so avoid this hotel. The room was dirty, service was poor, and the location isn't very convenient to restaurants. Do not recommend.

My traveling companion stayed in this motel on 10/29/2018, and i was unwilling to stay due to dirty and unkempt conditions of the room. The carpet was abysmal and carpets had an offensive order. When i return the next morning to pick him up, the owner insisted he pay a visitor fee. This was charged to his credit card. The owner insisted that since i was putting on sun lotion in my travel companions room, he needed to pay a visitor fee. TRAVELERS BEWARE OF GIVING THIS MOTEL YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER.

We only stayed here because we could not find another hotel in the Crestview, FWB, Destin area that had any pet rooms available( for one small house cat)....and because I didn't read the reviews. My fault. Thankfully, after three nights, we got got out! When we initially checked in, I asked the owner if I could look at the room first. He told me that he had already run my card "and it's too late now!" Drugs being dealt openly, police cruising through every few hours, flimsy door lock (actually slept with a butter knife and my phone in bed with me!)...paper thin walls (so no peace when the neighbors got "active"), sheet ripped, burn holes in the bedspread, no outlets in the bathroom for razor or hairdryer....two in the bedroom....one of which had the lamp, the TV, and the AC plugged into it. The one we used for the hairdryer was actually behind the bed, which we had to move every day in order to use it. No fridge or microwave, though we had been told it was available. "Not in pet rooms" per Owner....after we had rented the room! The two pillows were maybe an inch thick. When we asked if there were any additional pillows available, we were told to "go to Walmart" (which we did end up doing....along with buying a coffeepot, coffee and cups).We were told we HAD to be in the room when it was cleaned, because of the pet....so we would hang out each day until they were finished....then they would come back again....after we left! To mop, if the smell of bleach was any indication. Blinds did not close fully, so we were in full view at all times. NO amenities (ice, soap, shampoo, etc). On the plus side.....there were newer tile floors throughout, fresh paint over the cracked walls, was mopped daily and clean towels provided daily (rough and thin). And we never did see any bugs....and we looked! I'd like to say that the owners are making an effort....but I think it's only the housekeeper. WIfi available, but was afraid to use it. AC unit in the wall...looked too scary to even turn on. Bathroom window open one inch....could not open further for ventilation....or close for safety. Two old tv's and a table stored in the closet....so no room for our stuff. Stay away if there is any way you can!

Very comfortable room for a very reasonable price. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Minimal amenities but a very nice stopping place on your way down I-10 in the Florida panhandle. We wanted a low cost no frills overnight lodging and we got it here.

We were interrogated by lady owner upon our arrival about pets (had none), guests, etc. Early the next morning she was trying to force her way into our room to “clean” (we had only been there a few hours, the room was spotless). As soon as I drove out of the lot to get breakfast she barged into the room onto my resting family without knocking after unlocking both deadbolt and knob (clearly someone was inside when the deadbolt was locked). Harassed us about guests and forced us to pay for friends who were visiting for the day. Stayed here for two nights and definitely would have payed more to stay elsewhere if we had read reviews before booking. Upon departure she lurked outside our room staring at us and guests next to us and chased us across the lot for our key which we of course had left in the room. Room was very dated and shades didn’t work so once it gets dark people can see right into the room through the large front windows. There are people living in some of the units who appeared to be high on something and we could smell marijuana smoke several times.

Hurricane Irma chose this place for us to stay. I was glad it was only one night. The male owner barely spoke, the female owner kept on asking at check-in whether we would check-out on time (unsurprisingly we were long gone before check-out). The room felt old. Although renovation was ongoing there was a lot of dust, no catering other than a coke machine and no catering we felt safe at in the neighbourhood. There were no curtains, maybe this helps in making sure people do not stay beyond check-out (photo taken at 5am - the plus of randomly having some clips with us) and when next door had an argument we could hear more than we'd have liked! It was literally a port in a storm but with hindsight sleeping in the car might just have been a better option.

Booked online orginally.Stayed here 2 weeks dealing only with male owner. Worked with owner to help save them money. Wife us really rude. Wife has no customer service. Owner suggested i stay at another hotel. Do not sat here!
