Such a phenomenal location! Our room was right on the plaza that looked out to the sea. So tranquil and a very comfortable room as well with a sitting area.

The town is beautiful and the hotel is charming. Remember that there are cobblestones throughout the town and if you have a lot of luggage, you can arrange to have someone help you. The owners are very kind as are the other people in the hotel.

"A nice hotel to stay but please note..."

8.0

It is a very beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. My friend and I had a very good holiday in Monemvasia. The hotel also provides up-market toiletries. We had enjoyable stay in Likinia. Just a tip to everyone who wants to stay in this hotel. Please ensure you use the "city transfer" service when you reach the city gate, as you don't want to pull your heavy luggage on the uneven cobbled steps.

"Simply gorgeous."

10.0

A beautiful family-run hotel just outside of the main tourist crowds on this amazing little island. The service was outstanding, the room beautiful and the surroundings took our breath away. The only little minus was the lack of sea views from our room due to the fact that we booked really late and ours was the last available room.

"Peaceful, comfortable, family-run hotel "

10.0

The family who owns and runs the Likinia could not have been nicer or more accomodating. They allowed my father-in-law, who is no longer so mobile, to choose the room he was most comfortable in. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and the hot water was consistent. Good Greek-style breakfast, good location close to shops, swimming, and hiking, and fabulous views too! Go!!!

"Beautiful, clean and comfortable"

10.0

We absolutely loved our stay at the Likinia Hotel. We booked their loft room which featured a beautiful bedroom and living room area. The details in the woodwork, tile and marble are stunning. Each room has a deep sense of character that makes you feel as though you’ve visited before. The owners make you feel like you’re a part of their family and treat you with the utmost respect and kindness. They stock the rooms with cold drinks and wine to keep you refreshed. Their breakfast is all home cooked and delicious, catering to different tastes. The room was immaculate and the owner was generous enough to upgrade our parents bedroom at the last minute. We can’t say enough positive remarks about this hotel. We will certainly visit again!

"sleeping on the Rock"

8.0

the room or its little porch had no view of the city or water. Breakfast was average, but had delicious jams. The lady owner was not very friendly, not deliberately just the way she was. No coffee makers in the room or anything to make hot water for tea. I was able to get hot water from her in the breakfast room. Accomodations were very clean and modern. parking near the city gate is scares even in October. Definitely eat dinner at Marianthi, a little home made food restaurant on the main alley run by a very kind lady. she sits at your table and explains all the menu items. The fried zucchini and veal stuffed eggplants were delicious. Reasonable prices too.

"wonderful, unique experience"

Go to this hotel and town before it's fully discovered! Major renovations in the town and the hotel development means that not everyone has found it, and the prices are still reasonable. Fascinating place to spend the night in amazing accomodations.
