Residence Porta Antica

Well furnished, good location, perfect view. There is no need to dine at a restaurant to enjoy the scenery. Just having dinner in the seaview room is even better

The staff was wonderful and super helpful. However, the mattress needs replaced. The location is great but it’s extremely loud due to proximity to bars and restaurants.

The property had a lot of character and was super cute. Host was communicative and helpful. Wish we could’ve stayed for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Rovinj!! Residence Porta Antica is the perfect place to stay. We had a terrace room with a balcony overlooking the waterfront, just beautiful! As the old town of Rovinj is a car free zone, the manager kindly picked us up & dropped us off at our transfer point. This was so... much easier when you have luggage! Our accomodation was a lovely size & we were very happy with our stay!!

Residence Porta Antica is a cute, older-style hotel with a classic bed and breakfast feel (though no breakfast). Centrally located in Rovinj’s adorable old town right along the harbor, the hotel was right next to a plethora of restaurants and bars. We were also able to walk to a number of beautiful beaches in the area. Claudia was a fantastic host. She met us promptly when we arrived in Rovinj with an electric car to carry our bags into the old city. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Rovinj I highly recommend this place!

This property is located right on the water. It was clean and we had plenty of room. The reception staff was amazing!

Amazing location with great front desk people.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The owner was very communicative via email to make sure we knew where to park and whether we needed a shuttle (it was a fine 10-minute walk with our bags). She was lovely at check-in and made us feel welcome. The room was beautiful and absolutely unique — gorgeous views of the water, old stone walls and wooden ceiling beams, and a large comfortable bed. It was very romantic and not like a generic hotel, and we’d love to stay here again if we come back to Rovinj.

Location and quaintness. Right on the waterfront. Easy walking to everything. Excellent restaurants very close.

The Staff was very nice and helpful. The location could not have been any better,,, Charming hotel right on the waterfront and within walking distance to everything to see and do in Rovinj. The only regret is, I wish we could have stayed longer.
