Whilst my stay was lovely, and your staff very welcoming when I arrived I could not get into the building, there is no bell or intercom. If I hadn't stored your phone number I don't no how I would have gained entry. Your rooms are clean and well stocked etc drinks and shampoo. Your beds are so comfortable best sleep I've had in a while. The breakfast was yummy everything was so tasty and the choice was vast.

This guest house has been converted from a public house. The owner has made some great improvements and our room was clean and comfortable. But the outside traffic noise kept us awake until the early hours. The room desperately needs double glazing. The shower was awful. Very difficult to get any hot water, it was luke warm and trickled out with no power at all. The saniflow toilet is very noisy so we had to make sure we didn't flush during the night. If these improvements are completed then this would be a great guest house.
There is very limited parking. There is no evening meal available (although hotels.com states there is a restaurant). The shower was difficult to work and the head needed a good clean. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.
Very nice and clean modern hotel with great breakfast. This hotel is nicer than its looks outside. The room is a little bit small I got say but very comfortable. Horden is a local town very small and quiet and definity isn't a place for holiday, unless you have a purpose to go otherwise you wouldn't just go there. I was there for a weekend training course and I drove 25 mins to Durham for dinner on both nights as there are really not much going on locally. If you do go to Horden/Pererlee area this hotel is your perfect choice.
