Rafael Mansion Bangkok Aiport

I needed a place close to the airport for a long layover. This hotel was close, comfortae and inexpensive. The hotel clerk was super friendly and helpful. I found the room to be very clean and spacious. The only complaint would be the water pressure but it was t too bad.

The hotel was great, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. They even gave us lunch as they were trying the kitchen for possible meals for guests, and it was very good. It is perfect for a one night stay over for the airport. The only disadvantage is location it is in the middle of an industrial area. However there is a little market a hundred metres up the road and the people there were great. I would definitely stay there again, for one night.

We had a 7:00 AM flight from Bangkok, and the Rafael Mansion is exactly what it needed to be - inexpensive, comfortable, clean, and close enough to the airport (5-10 minute cab ride) to make the transfer tension-free.

We needed a place near the airport for about 5 hours just to shower and get some sleep. Looked forward to a warm shower before the long flight back to the US. First disappointment was having no towels in the room. Husband went to front desk; the clerk herself had to get them which took about 15 minutes. Next disappointment--shower pressure was so weak, the water was trickling, no exaggeration. Finally, as we sat on the bed, it was hard as wood! It wasn't even a typical firm Thai mattress, this was a solid unyielding block. While the price was low, we at least expected the room to have a decent mattress and functioning shower. Cannot recommend based on our experience.

One night stay close to airport. Hotel met our needs. Staff was very helpful in getting visas printed out for our international flight the following morning. Cannot comment on breakfast as we left too early. Had a nice meal down the street at the market. Hotel booked a taxi for us early in the morning, which was very helpful.

I needed so where conveniently located to the airport as I had an early flight. It was suitable for this and reception organised me my taxi in the morning which actually didn't try to rip me off. One of the few in Bangkok.

Hotel stay was good and will stay again. Hotels.com fee on room booking was excessive and not demonstrated until closure of booking process and payment closure. Reluctant to utilize bookings.com going foward

Nice enough hotel for the money; friendly and helpful staff. Room was reasonably comfortable and very clean. It was located very near the airport. Good value for the money.

If you're looking for a quick hotel for a layover at BKK, this place is great. Good people, 100 baht breakfast which is pretty good, they'll have a cab waiting for you to take you to the airport in the AM. I stayed here because my flight got into BKK at 11pm and my flight left for Phuket the next day at 1pm. When I came back from Phuket I had to stay a night in Bangkok for my flight the next morning, and I decided to stay here again. Clean, good A/C, good bed (but all thai beds are so hard what's up with that?), good wifi, good bathroom and shower. P.S. Don't let any cab drivers try to tell you a flat fee to and from BKK and not run the meter. It's 150 baht ($4.00) to get there from BKK and ~90 baht ($2.50) to get back to BKK. If they try to tell you otherwise - point to the paper in their cab with their picture, name, taxi id, and customer service number, and yell at them.

It was close to International Airport. 200bht in the taxi, which was about 20 minutes.Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good for overnight stay when connecting with another flight the next day.
