Emily was excellent could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Natalie (the manager) was equally hospitable. Is a great place to stay when exploring the South Coast .... Brighton, Rye, Hastings and Eastbourne itself all readily accessible. Lamb Inn is chock full of character and extremely comfortable

Everything one can expect from a historic pub, especially food (evening meal and breakfast) Harvey's beer. Great staff. Homely atmosphere.

The stairs up to the bedroom are very steep and difficult for the elderly.
