The breakfast very clean and very tasty and filling. The staff were very friendly. A lovely family run pub, who are happy and accomidating to your needs.

Location and ambience. Fantastic history with the building. Good beer selection and good pub food. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Stairs to rooms would be difficult for someone less than fully mobile,

Close to where we needed to be. The pub is a lovely classic English pub, warm and cosy with friendly helpful staff. The room was comfortable as indeed was the bed. 10/10

Lovely welcoming and cosy pub. Loved the old features and history. Fabulous staff especially Natalie the landlady. Ambiance perfect. Stayed on a Friday night so great to have live music in the evening. Comfortable bed and good breakfast.

The room is comfortable and has everything I need. The evening meals were very enjoyable (I don’t take breakfast). The free car parking within sight of my room is also a bonus.

I've been staying at The Lamb on and off for years. We go for the beautiful old pub atmosphere, lovely and friendly pub owners, the comfy bedrooms and the Old Town location.

Each guest is treated as an individual, so the options on breakfast are suited to my needs. In my case scrambled egg and mushroom, with coffee and fruit juice, and pleasing staff.
