You could be unlucky to get lost in the halls on your way to your room. Poor signing doesn’t help. I was unlucky to be 15 min walk from the reception.

Wonderful, one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. A magnificent prestige suite with a lovely shaded terrace overlooking the garden and pool. Breakfast and dinner were perfect.

The main drawback was the reception staff: adequate, courteous, and professional, but nothing more. Finding your way around the hotel is a real labyrinth; there are several buildings, not all on the same level floor, requiring two elevators and wandering through countless corridors. The least they could do on first-time arrivals is have someone from reception escort you to your door, but it took considerable insistence. On the other hand, the concierge gave me excellent information about excursions, but the visit to Valdemosa, specifically to Chopin and George Sand's cell, was completely ruined by him. He booked me a tour where the visit to this cell wasn't actually included. The bus stopped in Valdemosa only for 13 minutes, and we were left to find the Carthusian monastery ourselves, buy tickets, and of course, there was no guide or the 15-minute concert I had requested. In short, a complete failure for this visit. I only had 13 minutes to visit Chopin's cell before the tour bus left. And want 1 hour or 2 to visit all the chartreuse of Valdemosa with the cellula of Chopin and George Sand In a hotel of this class, I think the staff should be of a different caliber. One expects quality concierge service, attentive to guests, and I had perfectly explained all of this to the concierge, who did whatever suited him best and was easiest for him.
