Brit Hotel La Ferté sous Jouarre

Gérante pas du tout aimable, m’as clairement dis que malgré ma preuve de paiement tant qu’elle n’a pas l’argent visuellement elle ne donnerait pas de chambre et que j’aille voir ailleurs. « Vous avez cas faire comme tout le monde avoir une carte et payer à l’hôtel et non sur hôtel.com » Hôtel dans son Jus et pas très propre, taches sur la poubelle et toilette, cheveux dans le lit .. et pas de lumière dans la chambre cause de court circuit si deux lumières sont allumées. J’ai dû payer deux fois, elle devait me recontacter le lendemain pour me faire un remboursement d’un des deux paiements mais plus de nouvelles. Ayant l’habitude des hôtels environs 2/semaines c’est la première fois que je vois ça !!

Charged us for breakfast before asking us if we required breakfast despite me saying i would ask the group what they wished to do regarding breakfast . It was just tagged on the bill . Very demanding re getting payment upon arrival . Not appreciated when you have just ridden for 8 hrs on the hottest day of the year and only wanted the code for the car park so bc we could all get parked up .Breakfast very basic . No fridge or tea making facilities in the room . Worst stay of a six night tour ☹️

Staff was super helpful.

This hôtel has everything functional is clean and staff is friendly. A little expensive for the price paid though.

The coffee was instant. Breakfast was Ok.

I didn't like how the hotel charged me way in advance, then was charged again the day we arrived. I was too tired to figure out the French to point out the fact, and should have had my receipt from the credit card company, but didn't. I will double check for sure when I get home. They said that they would refund the overage amount. Still, it's an odd policy I've never experienced anywhere else.
