The hotel is pretty close to the slopes and the reception area looks good. Lockers available for skiis at the premises.

The rooms are old and when I say old it is not rustic/antique good looking old. It is ugly outdated old. The room was very small, bathroom was very old and I couldn’t turn off the heat. Room service: Does not exist. No phone in the room to call the room service. I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and no one brought any fresh towels, fresh linens or toilet paper. Wifi: straight terrible. I had to use my own data plan to connect. If you are a digital nomad who needs a good wifi, I would suggest looking for somewhere else. Food: I found a used sugar packet in my yogurt(I noticed it when it was in my mouth) How is this possible? I attached the photo. Also I threw up one night, I think it was the mayo messed up my stomach.

No soap in the bathrooms. The whole place is very tired and in need of a refit Crèche staff we disinterested in our child so we took her out of the crèche Staff generally miserable

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was cosy. The food was good quality with plenty of choice. The location was good for us with a short walk to the slopes and lifts.

The shower had seen better days!

Good location at the hotel and there is what you need

Location was excellent. Wonderful mountain views from my quiet 7th floor room. Getting onto the snow to access lifts involved approximately a 100 metre walk. On my 3rd last day, I discovered a way of skiing down right back to the end of the snow about 20 metres from Club Belambra. During my stay there was no new snow, so the pistes, although completely well covered, were very fast and firm. Off-piste snow was not suitable for skiing in most places, frozen and rutted. I had taken my own skis suited for powder snow (wide skis with rocker). These were not suited to the almost icy snow conditions, so after the first few days. I rented more suitable skis. This was easy because there is a ski hire shop in the basemant of Club Belambra. Breakfasts and Dinners were all buffet style self serve. Huge variety of excellent food. A bit chaotic with lots of little kids running in all directions carrying big plates of food, but generally happy occassions. My booking site said that free wifi was not avaiable (expensive paid wifi was available). So I bought a data sim to use in a mobile phone. But in fact, free unsecured wifi was available and this was fast and a reasonably strong signal in my room, and adequate for less critical web use such as reading news etc. In the huge "Les 3 Vallees" ski area there is a total of 149 lifts, and I used many of these. Apart from some of the access lifts where I had up to ten minutes wait, most other lifts had very little or no waiting.

Food at the buffet meals was often not very hot, and this was not helped by the dinner plates being icy cold. Pre-heated plates would have gone part way towards improving this. It would have been helpful if reception staff had explained how to ski right back (via Roc&Bob) to Club Belambra.

The property was't responsive for booking modification requests. I wasn't able to add a 2nd person to the booking using the Booking.com UI. It took me 3 or 4 attempts to get the answer from the property. One of the attemps was a phone call. The staff's English was not good. We were not able to understand each other and I was asked to reach them in writing. However, English of the receptionists and waiters in the restaurant was good. The room was really small. The door had a strong spring to close automatically. That made loading and unloading of my stuff really annoying. It was cold in the room. The room had places for two heaters under the windowsill. But only one was installed. There was a printed announcement in the room like "Let's care about the environment and have 19 degrees in the room in Winter". The thermostatic head on the heater was a smart electric one which couldn't be controlled by the visitor. However, they provided an extra electric heater for free.

The food was good, lots of choice and excellent puddings
