"What's Not To Love??"

We stay here several times a year and absolutely love this hotel. This is family run and always a warm welcome from Alan,Sue,Dylan,Lilia and Denise. Rooms are great and cleanliness spot on, food amazing- good menu choices and beautifully presented, breakfast is lovely,.Fab views from rooms and large patio , Good free parking ,and WIFI . Great bar and lounge, Bingo night/ BBQ nights also weekly on offer should you fancy . Location ideal in Southern Lakes for Cartmel Village,Grange Over Sands, Kendal and easy reach to Settle,Windermere and Arnside etc. Thoroughly recommend.

"A lovely, peaceful, weekend spent in beautiful surroundings with friendly people and good food."

Beautiful location and within walking distance of Cartmel village and Grange and other places of interest further afield. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Our room was a good size with a bath and shower in our en-suite! The food, we had breakfast and an evening meal, was delicious, with a varied menu.

Could have done with some hand soap in the en-suite, although we did bring our own.

"Wonderful wedding meal!"

Didn’t stay here so don’t know much about the rooms. We went for a meal after our registry office wedding. The staff were wonderful, as usual, and the food was lovely, even accommodating the more fussy eaters amongst us. The setting was perfect for pictures - only the weather let us down. Thanks Sue and the team for helping to make our big day special! J&D
