What a fabulous overnight stay at Uplands to celebrate my friends 80th birthday. Perfect location, great views, friendly welcoming atmosphere nothing is too much trouble, lovely cosy room, comfortable bed, soft duvet and spotlessly clean, great value for money. Freshly cooked homemade breakfast was just delicious. Our party night at Uplands was just brilliant. The food was amazing!. Would highly recommend. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff x

Room was large and comfortable. Good location between Cartmel and Grange over Sands.

The water pump was very loud. Whenever anyone took a shower or used water it woke us up.
