Hotel Route-Inn Sapporo Shiroishi

周りは何もないので、プランに付いていない食事が少し大変ですかね。

年末年始の忙しい中観光スポットを教えてくれたりバスの事を教えてくれとても助かりました。また朝食も種類豊富でとても美味しかったです。

車がないと不便な場所だが、駐車場も立柱もあるので困らないと思う。札幌中心部までもJR白石駅がタクシー料金８００円ぐらいなので移動にもさほど不便さはない。また白石駅隣にコインパーキングもあるので車で駅まで行っても大丈夫。

They give you all a good breakfast and excellent coffee free for most of your stay. The public bath is good, can and easy to use. My only problem was that the bed was very hard, but then I have upper and lower back problems.

The hotel is situated in a not so favorable location then it is not the worst either. Now I just got back from Sapporo last week and stayed there for 5 nights and I must say it is not bad at all. Room is larger than most Japanese standard and the single single has larger bed with very good duvet to keep me sleeping well throughout. Cleanliness and all are just as how the Japanese take every detail into consideration so I have nothing to complain but happy for. The Onsen In the hotel is a plus and breakfast is alright. Service is fantastic and again, it is the Japanese thing, only thing is English is not that well understood but not a big issue. I am here to guide you guys how to get to the hotel and around with my experience as I found very little information about the whole thing. OK, here is how to get to the hotel by walking (if you chose to) from Shiroishi station (from airport). Once you get off the station and come to the street, you will have to walk straight ahead till first junction. Turn left and just keep walking all the way till the end and this could take about 15 minutes depending on your speed but not difficult. You will pass by Hokkaido Band then North Pacific Bank on the right side which is your landmark in case you wonder. Till you see a junction where left you see LAWSON convenient store and opposite is 7Eleven, this is where you turn right direction and keep walking and hotel is visible as it is the only tall building by the whole road. Taxi fare is not expensive as I checked it is no more than 900Yen I believe. If you could catch a bus which I highly believe is available at the train station, hop on 55 or 57 and it will stop near Lawson and spare you from the walking. It is 210 Yen flat rate. This you would have to ask the customer service staff at the train station for information as I did not actually get on one but my instinct told me it is the route. Now talk about bus 55 and 57. You may take that from the station by Lawson which takes your Sapporo JR/Subway station, which is again, by LAWSON lol. Hotel is not that inconvenient and walking back and forth takes few minutes and it is not difficult at all. Opposite of hotel, buy your Bento lunch box at 500 Yen which is delicious and fresh from the kitchen! What a budge! Fire Burg is another awesome place to eat too with such reasonable price and amazing food,and another tip, rice is refillable! 711 and Lawson too I bought a lot of my snacks and so cheap to eat so much. Now, I also found out that at the back of the hotel, which is the opposite direction from walking to get bus, there was a huge Aeon mall and some nice shopping area to discover, you may grab a cab or ask hotel staff for information on bus as I passed by in a car while my friend drove me to a nice cafe. Get a bus schedule for 55 and 57 and just make sure you do highlight the departure time from both SHIROISHI and SAPPORO station, especially on the last bus timing. Reminder, punctuality is the Japanese thing and if the schedule says 1745 you better be there, say 1740 to ensure you don't miss it. So that's it from me, have a great stay. Comfy hotel with good staff and a lovely sento bath house on the ground floor.

Hotel was nice on the inside, the onsen was great for relaxing, there were no english tv channels, very limited even in Japanese tv channels. The location was far from subway and JR lines to get into the city. The surrounding neighbourhood was very industrial.

the hotel was ok, only that i found it was not very near to the train station. you have to take a taxi t the train station so that you can reach the city center. Walking to the train station is not recommended especially during winter because it will take 20 minutes. i would rather spend more for a hotel that is near the city if money does not matter.
