Hotel Route-Inn Sapporo Ekimae Kitaguchi

As someone who has never been to Sapporo, finding the hotel was simple - it was conveniently located across the road from the station. The staff were very attentive and helpful - conversed in both English and Japanese. The room I stayed in were neat and tidy.

This hotel met all my needs. The location is extremely convenient and made my daily travels simple and faster. Sapporo station is quite literally on the door step and easy to access. There are also three different convenience stores within a 30 second walking distance. The reception staff were attentive and the check in and out process was smooth as can be. My room had everything I needed. The bed was large and comfortable and there was an extra blanket in the wardrobe however I was not cold. The bathroom had ample amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, face moisturiser, a razor, a toothbrush and tooth paste, a body washing cloth and even a q-tip. My towels and bins were replaced daily. The complementary breakfast was delicious and I looked forward to it every morning. It had a wide selection of both western style food and Japanese style food. The miso soup was especially delicious. I enjoyed using the Onsen as well. It was never crowded and I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath almost every day, sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening. I chose a room where smoking was allowed despite the fact that I do not smoke because the price fit my budget better. The room smelled slightly of cigarettes but this is expected and something I was okay with. Just a warning, if you do not like the smell of cigarettes it is probably best not to choose this type of room.

The only downside was after I booked this hotel I received multiple spam and fraud like messages. The first one seemed very legitimate as the message contained all the correct information regarding myself and my booking reference number as well as my dates of stay. This is a little concerning and I am not sure how this information was obtained. Whether it is an issue with booking.coms data security or the hotels data security I am not sure. After the first message I was able to spot subsequent messages more easily. This was the only downside I experienced.

①部屋の中にフックが有れば良い ②ホテル北口と提示されているため、北口(北大通り) へ進んだ。遠回りになってしまった。朝玄関を出たら西口の前でした。

ロケーションが良かった。駅前が工事中だったが、工事がなければ、もっと便利だっただろう。スタッフの挨拶も良い。

掛布団が厚くて重すぎ、暑くて時に寝苦しかった。

札幌駅から非常に近いので出張に非常に適していると思います。重たいの持つを直ぐに部屋に運べるのは大変ありがたいです。移動で疲れた体を大浴場で癒し美味しい朝食を頂いて仕事に向かえます。
