"Not horrible."

6.0

6 short blocks to get from the hotel to downtown; at the time of my stay, the road was under construction (no asphalt/concrete, just packed dirt) so my taxi had to drive over a mound of dirt to get there. It makes the place (and the walk to downtown) feel a bit sketchy. Clerk was curt and didn't smile; perhaps the hotel isn't really intended for English-speaking guests, but check-in was fast and he gave me the wi-fi password quickly when asked. Maybe if you travel in a larger group, you'd feel safer making the walk from there to the livelier parts of Cabo San Lucas.

right around the corner from down town, but far enough away from busy traffic and noise. Nice little hotel for the budget traveler. Would recommend for budget traveling.

"Save Money, Sleep Comfortably, Keep Cool, Good Wif"

10.0

I stayed in my luxury resort two months ago and was taken for over $5,000 by a ghost company above Sr. Frogs, which has now moved to another two locations. I needed a economical place to stay to stretch my stay as I would next fly for a reunion in Alaska. For $32.00 wow ...tv, fan, air conditioning all worked great! It is family owned and they take pride in cleaning and bringing fresh towels etc. Mom, Dad, and the grown kids all take part. With Hurricane Blanca, they simply close the heavy doors and shrug that Odiel didn't bother them. Parking is secured after 11 pm by a protected inclosure. If after that one can park in the family's property behind the hotel. I travelled alone and felt very safe. Neighborhood is typical Mexican style. Stores, restaurants are within walking distance. My knees are very bad so I took a taxi ever where. I had an excellent room bottom floor on the end Room 106. There is a cute rooster who crows once in a while, which is pretty cool usually only at sunrise and sunset. Place was quit and serene. Road construction was going on but by the time I post this, road should be nicely paved. Wifi here was better here than at my other more expensive resorts. I agree this is a nice place to stay with a very comfortable bed and an opportunity to save lots of money so that one can take in a lot more fun activities.

"Cabo Cush"

10.0

Was there 4 days and three nights. It was a short visit for a birthday getaway. Room was nice and clean. To find a Taxi just had to walk down the street three blocks. Location is a bit away from the beach, but not far from bars and nightlife.

"Excellent Budget Hotel"

10.0

My bf and I stayed last week and were very pleased with the hotel. This is a budget motel located in the downtown Cabo area, about 4 or so blocks from the Marina. The walk to the Marina & Medano Beach is convenient. The neighborhood is very safe and far enough from the strip that you won't be bothered from the loud noise and music from the clubs. The beds and linens are comfortable, A/C worked well, and the water pressure in the shower and for flushing the toilet was more than adequate. There was a mini fridge that was perfect for keeping drinks & snacks. A microwave and hot/cold bottled water and instant coffee are available downstairs. A grocery store, small market and Oxxo convenience stores are very close by. Many affordable and excellent restaurants like Los Claros and El Pescador are a block away, as an alternative to eating at the Marina. The rooms are spacious, and clean and we had no problem requesting maid service- though we opted to sleep in most mornings and forgo cleaning. The wifi worked very well- better than my experience at some foreign 4 & 5 star resorts. There is a secure parking area right behind the building if you have a car. For those looking for a resort experience, Cabo Cush may not be for you. However, if you're looking for a bargain on room rates, prefer to immerse yourself in the local culture and neighborhood, yet still be close to the tourist areas, it is PERFECT!

"Nice local hotel "

8.0

First, the hotel is in the neighborhood no where near the beach. That makes it far but close access to the clubs. It was a much better experience to be close to the nightlife rather than overpaying at a beach resort. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Staying at a hotel with locals, around real cheep food/drinks made the trip great. The walk to the beach was about 15 while to the clubs 5 minutes. I highly enjoyed my time staying there for the cheep price and local access.
