"Neat and clean low cost hotel in Cabo San Lucas"

10.0

Low cost hotel, good for the price. Not exactly in the best location. We didn't feel great about the location initially but turned out to be safe enough. Hotel has a small parking area at the back. One of the better features is free wifi. A welcome move in a town where all the 5-star resorts charge for wifi.

Watch out for the timeshare salespeople at the Mega Grocery store.

"Not a bad place to stay..."

10.0

The hotel is very clean and presentable. Not to far from the nightlife and plenty of restaurants to choose. Staff was awesome, I forgot I had a 7 pm flight on Sunday and the stay let me check out at 3 instead of 12... For the price I paid its well worth it.... Would stay there again

"Over rated"

6.0

First off, we're not normally very picky about our hotels. To us, a hotel is a place to sleep, change, and wash up. Cabo Cush was acceptable for these purposes. However, I really don't understand the "excellent" rating it has on hotels.com. The neighborhood is extremely noisy; on our first night there a local soccer team apparently won a big match and we were treated to cars honking, people yelling and cheering and partying until about 3 AM. The desk clerk "almost" spoke passable English, though that doesn't really bother me much; it's his country and I'm the foreigner after all. The AC worked but was very loud and on two nights we had to place towels and trash cans in strategic places to capture the dripping condensation INSIDE the room. All in all, Cabo Cush isn't the worst place I've stayed in but it's hardly one I'd rate as anything more than acceptable.

Very clean hotel. Was a little noisy early in am because of dogs and roosters in neighborhood. Close to town and walking to lots of restaurants.

"No frills but well worth the money"

6.0

No frills hotel - it has everything you need though ! A/c, Internet, a fridge, a secure parking lot. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have every slept on! If it had a pool I would have given it 4 stars

"Clean, cheap, and safe."

10.0

I had a wonderful stay. Very clean hotel for the price, I was very surprise. It is located in a residential area with small restaurants. Out of all the high priced and resort restaurants, my favorite was 2 blocks away in a small restaurant the had the best fresh fish tacos in the world. Cabo Cush is a perfect location for a family or single person, like me, on a budget, but yet very, very, nice.

"For what you pay per night it's OK"

4.0

First impression when the shuttle dropped us off was hotel was nice but neighborhood a bit iffy. Quick check in where you are handed remotes to a/c and TV along with room key. Get to room and was pleasantly surprised. Large, king bed and twin in room. Clean. Large shower with good hot water. A/C worked great plus there was a fan in the room. Safe in wardrobe closet which is a great thing to have. We definitely used that. TV was old but who cares. Your not in Cabo to watch TV right? Funny side note...the local news was Seattle news which was funny since we are from the Pacific NW. Bed was a little hard for our taste but we survived. Pillows were great. No phone in room but free WIFI (you get the password from front desk). Daily room service. They only give two towels and one wash cloth so we did request one more wash cloth. Towels were very nice. Location is about 4-5 blocks off marina so you are close to everything and within walking distance to Hard Rock, Cabo Wabo, The Wyndham, the marina, the mall. I mentioned our first impression was neighborhood was iffy but we always felt safe to be out past dark. Take a left out of hotel lobby and go down 1-2 blocks on left is the best taco stand ever!! I can't remember the name but all the tables are covered in orange table cloths. A shrimp taco for 20 pesos!! Cheap and oh so good!!

"For the price, can't beat it"

8.0

Staying at the Cabo Cush was ideal for it's location. However, if you are not a seasoned Mexico traveler the location may be a bit scary. The hotel is situated in the residential area of Cabo San Lucas. Dogs barking, trucks motoring down the road and neighborhood noises occurring at all hours. The hotel location is a mere 5 blocks from Laraza Cardenas and the main area of Cabo, which is where I wanted to be near. The bed was comfortable, but the door locks were a bit sketchy - using the key to lock from the inside and not all had any additional lockability. The room had a refrigerator which was a bonus, but only full size bath towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. The room was very clean and large. Check in was a breeze, however not secure. I only showed my reservation print out & was given keys. No ID required. All in all, for the one night, it was not bad. But if you are looking for a quiet location with a little more security I would not choose this hotel. If you are looking to save money & want to be close to downtown Cabo, I would highly recommend The Cabo Cush Hotel.
