"Very dated "

Needs a good coat of paint and new carpet terrible stairs to mezzanine Looks like everything same since it was built including the stove -70's? For price was very disappointing

"Think twice!"

Receptionist did not understand when I phoned with a query. Very old and basic accommodation, which felt very depressing, wish I’d gone to the new Quest hotel not far away.

"Nice motor inn"

Very pleasant little motor inn. Certainly nicer than some of the motels I've stayed in the it was just unfortunate the person in the next room had music blasting until after midnight. The only issue is there was only a railing on one side of staircase going up to the bathroom.

"Excellent"

Everything was fine except that when we checked in at about 8 PM on a rainy 10 degree C evening, we found several windows in the room wide open and it was freeeezing inside. There were only two small electric heaters to change this, which took hours.

"Excellent Howick motel"

8.0

Our stay was very good. The bed was comfortable. Everything we required was supplied- tea bags, coffee, milk bathroom supplies. It is an old motel, but it has been well maintained. Swimming pool looked inviting, but a bit cool to try it out. We will stay here again.
