My son and I used it as a convenience hotel to catch and return from the Holyhead ferry terminal (5 minutes away) so we had 2 nights a week apart and particularly enjoyed the second night's stay as a local folk band was booked as the evening's entertainment - they were terrific! With good meals on offer too we were made very welcome at The Boathouse, thank you.

GBGreat location! It is very close to the ferry and Breakwater Country Park, which was perfect for a nice morning hike with my dog before our departure.
I was specifically promised a ground-floor garden room to make staying with my dog more convenient. However, upon arrival, I was told that room was no longer available. Instead, we were given a room on the second floor that was as far away as possible. Managing a dog and all of our luggage back and forth up the stairs was a real hassle. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

Very expensive especially as it didn't include breakfast which was a rip- off. Stayed the previous night in another Booking.com hotel nearby which was also on the coast, was cheaper and included an excellent breakfast. No-one was around to check in and generally the service was very casual. The shower was cold.

USAmazing location — quick walk from Soldiers point ruins and some flowering fields, and our room overlooked the marina. Gorgeous! Super friendly staff and good food. Perfect night before an early morning ferry ride.
