Hotel Pellegrino

Thank you Hotel Pellegrino for a wonderful stay and accommodation. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our stay. The breakfast was great and satisfying. My husband and I will definitely tell our friends and we will rerun.

From the moment my husband and I arrived at the hotel, we felt like family! Luigi, Sandra, Alessia, & Daniela - were the most gracious hosts we've ever stayed with! To start, we had traveled for many hours to get to Italy and were warmly welcomed at the door and then taken up to the terrace to eat the most beautiful breakfast of my life overlooking the Amalfi Coast. If you are looking for a hotel to stay at in Praiano - look no further! And here's why: -Rooms: The rooms are beautifully elegant, with decor that represents the region. The bed was the comfiest I slept on this entire trip, and the balcony had spectacular views. -Breakfast: delicious, homemade, and full of flavor. From fresh crepes, eggs made your way, fresh fruit, cappuccino, pastries, tomatoes, yogurt, fresh bread, and more! Check out my photos to see the beautiful meal you'll be served! -Dinner: They offer a new menu for dinner every night. you can choose to dine there or not. We chose to dine a couple of times and it was bellissima! Daniela even added lasagna to the menu one day because I mentioned I hadn't eaten homemade lasagna yet. It was magic in your mouth! -Personal chauffeur services: when you want to go somewhere that is in reasonable distance to the hotel, Alessia or Luigi will drive you there and pick you up when requested. This is all FREE OF CHARGE! I cannot express how convenient this was for us during our stay. -Family feel: When you stay at the Hotel Pellegrino, you feel like you've just traveled to stay with close family. It's not like the bigger hotel chains where it's 'transactional'. They actually care about you and are interested in getting to know you. I teared up when leaving because they became like family to me. To sum things up, this was THE BEST HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED AT! I typically do not write reviews and I was so touched by the caring, beautiful family that runs this hotel that I had to express my thanks and appreciation. If you have stumbled across this hotel in your search for an Amafie escape and are reading this review.. our advise is to Book it now.. you will kick yourself for missing out. From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel was perfect. The family feel makes you feel welcomed, so personal and full of warmth we knew we were in for a fabulous week. How right we were By far this is the best Hotel we have ever had the privilege to visit. Luigi and the entire family deliver a style of service that goes far beyond the meaning of the word.. they put there heart and soul into ensuing your every need is catered for and honestly, nothing is too much trouble.. Alessia your recommendations, advice, care and attention, your ‘what’s app’ hints and tips were invaluable. Thank you for being the perfect hostess. Daniela, you are an amazing chef, your menus are off the scale delicious! and although we tried other restaurants in the area nothing compared to your flavours and creations. Your use of fresh ingredients and artistry of your food is 5 star. But even that’s not enough, you also went over and above catering for my wife’s dietary needs while ensuring her experience was equal to my own. Luigi What can I say.. you have a beautiful hotel, a beautiful family and you have a great sense of style! What you have created is so special on every level and we cannot thank you enough for everything you have done during our stay. I truly could go on and on about our stay, the room, the decor, the finishes, the little touches, cleanliness, the food, the views, the location, the local village and beach drop off and collections and so much more. The views - the amazing view of the water and the stunning wall of flowers covering the hotel, the view at sunset at the dining terrace, the foods - deliciously and professionally cooked and carefully presented; the food portions were very generous; the detailed explanations and recommendations to various places to visit; the pickups from various spots which saved us walking, and finally the genuinely warm hospitality provided by Luigi and his family - it was a wonderful 2 nights

It would have been useful to have something and somewhere to lay out my handwashing - but then I was too stingy to pay for laundry service

Quite simply, extraordinary. This beautiful hotel is a hidden gem. Family run by Luigi and his adult children, they take service to a new level. By far the cleanest hotel we have ever visited in 40 years of world travel. Anything you need, they will provide. Exquisite dining on the rooftop patio. Unbelievable breakfasts and multi-course, mouth-watering dinners by an incredible chef. The best kind of surprise awaits you!

Hotel Pellegrino, as many other reviews have shared, is a top-class family run business. We were very fortunate to be able to stay at their brand-new room, and it did not disappoint. The amenities, friendliness, accommodations (rides to and from), and overall experience was very memorable & pleasant. The restaurant was also an experience unlike any other restaurants that we had in Praiano-- the chef is classically trained, offering unique menus every evening, along with unique drinks and delicious local wines. It's worth staying at Hotel Pellegrino for the restaurant itself-- it's that good! We were given breakfast for free every morning which was delicious. It included pastries, crepes, eggs (some of the best scrambled eggs we've ever had), fresh fruit & juice, etc. It was all delicious and great quality. For dinner, the menu changed every evening as mentioned above, and I recommend to go with the fixed menu and be surprised with the ingenuity & stellar gastronomy of the chef Daniela. She is on another level. It is to be noted that the restaurant is not open every night (although the hotel did offer food delivery from other local restaurants), so definitely plan reservations ahead of time! Alesia (our concierge) was also top-class-- answering messages & calls quickly through WhatsApp: scheduling rides (around Amalfi Coast, and to/from airports), reservations, and anything needed at the hotel. She is a professional who handles everything coming her way with ease. We so appreciated her support & friendly service. Signore Luigi was also tremendous-- helping us with rides, serving us at the restaurant, and giving us recommendations for other restaurants and stores. His warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel like family. It is a rarity & an honor to experience the harmony of a family-run business at the top of their craft. As photos show, the beautiful and blooming bougainvillea can be seen as a symbol of the love the Rispoli family have for their guests, hotel, and Praiano. Highly recommended!

We loved every minute of our stay at the Hotel Pellegrino. Luigi and his family and staff were the most amazing hosts. The location, food (breakfast and dinner), and comfortable rooms were all above expectations. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful of any of the 10 hotels we stayed on this Italy vacation. From giving us rides to multiple locations to helping us line up our itinerary for day trips, their service was exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel.
