This is a heavenly, intimate hotel where the family owners attend to every details to make your stay perfect. The bed, the exquisitive linens, the understated but beautiful decor, the enormous handmade delicious breakfast, the laundry service (prepare to go through a lot of outfits in the middle of summer!), the convenient shuttle service into the village of Praiano or to nearby Positano, and most of all the quiet warmth and kindness of the family owners were unparalled in my experience of staying in many four star boutique hotels around the world. The building is very attractive and somewhat unusual from the outside, beautifully covered in flowering vines and built into the side of the hill. The interior was among the mostly sparkling clean I have ever enjoyed with the decor that is calming and elegant, complete with interesting art and objects that capture the local flavor without being busy or distracting. It's a short walk to the center of Praiano and the stunning church and square and a quick drive to Positano. The breakfast included a stunning array of delicious items: a huge tray of pastries, yogurt, fresh orange-carrot-lemon juice, coffee made to order, crepes, a large bowl of fresh fruit, bread, eggs made to order with bacon, cheeses and avocado, all served on the terrace looking over the ocean. Getting around the Amalfi Coast is a bit logistically challenging, but Alessia was ready with assistance at every turn, organizing our transportation for last-minute requests, and most memorably, mapping out our Path of the Gods hike so that it was just the right amount of challenge with a taxi waiting at the end to bring us back to the hotel. She honestly was there every single time I came to the desk!

Hotel Pellegrino is an absolute hidden treasure and I look forward to coming again one day!!! Luigi and his family are truly the kindest people I have ever met in a service industry. Offering free transportation around the clock, beautiful meals, and a spotless room were only a couple of ways they made our trip so wonderful. Alessia was unbelievably helpful in even booking our airport ride transfers and ferry to visit Capri! We seriously feel as if we found a home and a family on the Amalfi coast in Praiano. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and you would be missing out if you stayed anywhere else!

Hotel Pellegrino was an absolute dream!!! I’ve never been to a hotel that provided such exceptional service. They offered free transportation services all day long, amazing meals, and a stunning room! Luigi and his family truly made us feel at home and I cannot wait to come back one day. Alessia provided great recommendations and even booked our airport and ferry transfers for us! I cannot say enough fantastic things about this hotel and family, you would be missing out to not stay at their hotel!!!

The property was absolutely AMAZING! But what made it more amazing was Luigi, Alessia, Daniela and the rest of the staff. They go above and beyond to make your stay and unforgettable one. The experience here at the beautiful Hotel Pellegrino was special from start to finish. The whole family put their heart and soul into making guests feel at home. My room was beautifully decorated with cool turquoise tiles, balcony with wonderful sea views, and attractive flowers and plants everywhere. Rooms are kept spotless every day by the housekeeping staff. But the main attraction is the family, constantly concerned with guests' comfort and offering lifts to the local areas and advice on excursions. Alessia worked so hard at meeting my requirements. I had assumed the hotel would be out of the way but it's a pleasant 15 minutes stroll to the central village which is also inhabited by friendly shop and café owners. Praiano seems a far more 'authentic' and rewarding place than shall I say, neighbouring towns! The Pellegrino hotel restaurant on its own is worth 5* as the breakfast was plentiful and high quality thanks to Danielle, and evening dinners were virtually personalised to my own taste yet remarkably good value. The whole family was gracious and appreciative. Thank you so much to Luigi and family for this special place.

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely Hotel Pellegrino! Luigi and Alessia provided us with excellent service and personal attention to ensure we had an enjoyable time at their hotel. The amazing breakfast served each morning was delicious, along with a beautiful view of the sea! The outstanding personal shuttle service provided by Luigi and Daniella made it so easy for us to reach restaurants, beaches and even Positano! Thank you Alessia for coordinating our dinner reservations to many local favorites! We highly recommend staying at Hotel Pellegrino for a wonderfully relaxing oasis in a beautiful location in Praiano! We will have many wonderful memories of our time here!
