"Best location and defilingly a good place to have a traditional tatamis room experience."

Best location in Kyoto. Almost everything was to a walking distance. Building is old and rooms could benefits of a fresh paint, but overall we loved the tatamis room experience and I would definitely go back. There was a tea set and small table with cushion as well for ceiling that was every appreciated when back from a long walking day.

We were on the last floor of the hotel and there was no shower on our floor so we had to go down 4 floor to shower. That was not super convenient but that was the only thing so I would recommend this stay for sure.
