City Pension Tommy Rich Inn Kyoto

Amazing location in the very centre of Kyoto, very friendly and home like atmosphere, great value for money

Good value, clean room and facilities.

The position is great and the staff is nice.

Bathroom and in general common spaces are a little cold.

The pension is a series of rooms with shared bathrooms/washbasins, and no food is provided. It is comfy, warm and the host is very nice. Tea making facilities and teabags are provided which is welcome. Not quite as convivial as a hostel but well located and, for the time of year, the price was reasonable. The wifi was excellent, which was helpful for working.

There are shared fridges but no crockery for do-it-yourself meals, which is a pity: I had to buy a bowl to have breakfast in my room.

All perfect, expecially the staff that also helped us in planning the trip
