ITC Colón by Soho Boutique

I rely on other travellers reviews when booking but this one didn't have a review. The hotel is very much 3 star and a little tired in some areas. The bathroom is small but the shower is absolutely fabulous and the bed was very comfortable. It is well located just near the station and you can walk if your luggage not too heavy. A taxi will cost around 4 euro but tip the driver as they wait hours in the queue and this is a small fare. One staff member was particularly helpful when I locked my luggage keys in my bag. The other reception staff member was quite rude and wouldn't let me use their phone even though the one in my room didn't work. I arrived well before check in time but as my room was ready they let me go straight in. So a mixed bag really. Breakfast had the usual variety for 6 euro and was fine. I would stay again but have stayed at better and worse three stars.

The hotel is good, very strange de oration, strange rooms, but confortable and the staff is very nice. The rooms are very, but very noisy because there is no insulation and the doors are very hard to close making noises. They need to invest in new doors. Location is okay, but you need to walk for 15 minutes to the historical area. Parking is close by, but expensive. Breakfast is okay, nothing great. The bathroom is terrible, dark and very cold.

The hotel was a great find for the price. Rooms were clean and modern. The area was well maintained. Only cons were that it was outside the historical area, so it was a bit of a walk to the sites (20 minutes),and the room was a little on the small side. Good value.

The hotel is very near the train station, which is useful as this was a quick stop on the AVE line for us. We were able to walk to every end of cordoba from here (and I was 6 mo pregnant, so we were not into vigorous walking). The room was small, but was very clean and quiet. The staff was courteous and helpful, and had wonderful recommendations ready for food and sights to see.

We were very happy with our stay. Very nice. We only had one issue and that was with the person that checked us in...........he was very abrupt and. Did not seem overly friendly in wanting to be of very much help for us when we asked him different questions about surroundings as in downtown central etc. It would have been nice if he could have smiled and not just shrugging his shoulders and looking not interested,. The gentleman. That was on the next day was very helpful and friendly. The Hotel was enjoyed otherwise

A simple 500m or so walk from the train station and within walking distance to all the main attractions. No problems with the room. Great choice if you're traveling by train and not renting a car.

A easy walk from the train station, but a bit far from historical centre

Our hosts asked us to leave our bags out in the lobby when we arrived before check in time, not wanting to put backpacks in their holding room with suitcases. Service was a little rude - blatantly ignored while I was politely waiting to ask a question when standing in front of desk as receptionist/manager attended to some paperwork. However, room was adequate, parking was convenient (pay). It was a bit of a trek walking back to the hotel every time we needed a break in the heat.

Nice, secluded , small, clean hotel. Close to some restaurants and shops. We found free parking on the streets close by. Rooms very small but clean. bathroom big, impeccable. 15 min walk thru small streets to the old center Mesquita.
