Anoop Hotel

I booked through Expedia and arrived at the hotel on 20.11.2013 morning at 08.00hrs. The room allotted was 402 at the fourth floor. No hassle, but no lift facility was available; tolerable though. But the following serious defects were there. 1. The bed linen was not changed. It was having stains and smelled bad. I used my own bed. 2. There were no pillow covers and the pillows smelled saliva. 3. No hot water service. In the biting winter chillness, I had to bath in cold water. 4. TV was there but not working. 5. Telephone was there, but not working 6. The inside door latch was not proper 7. No room service was possible, as there was no facility to call any room service 8. Worst hotel I have ever stayed. No room service. Dirty bathrooms. No hot water. Very arrogant staff.

Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war stimmig. Das Zimmer und die Bettwäsche nicht neu aber sauber. Man war sehr bestrebt, mir mit Tipps zur Seite zu stehen. Das Hotel einschließlich des Restaurants und der Serviceeinrichtungen (Internet) sind rund um die Uhr geöffnet. Die Lage ist zentral in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und des Zentrums in einer Einkaufsstraße. Trotzdem war es in der Nacht nicht laut. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Flachbildschirm, Telefon, Ventilator und Klimaanlage. Das Wasser im Bad war heiß.

it is mentioned that all rooms are airconditioned, but after reaching hotel they said that i booked non AC room.If they have different rooms it should have been mentioned in the website.

Un poil cher pour ce que c'est. C'était très très humide, je ne suis pas hyper sure de la propreté des draps, et la salle de bain était définitivement crade. De plus, l'eau chaude ne marchait pas ; on l'a signalé plusieurs fois à la réception, à chaque fois ils envoient un mec dans la chambre vérifier que le chauffe-eau est allumé, nous montrer la petite lumière le prouvant, dodeliner de la tête et nous dire que tout est ok. Mais c'est pas parce qu'un chauffe eau fait de la lumière qu'il fait du chaud. Le chai servi est très cher et pas top. Tout n'est pas négatif : c'est bien situé, les chambres étaient surement très bien quand toutes neuves (vrai effort de déco et de confort), et on n'a pas été embêté par le bruit de Paharganj.

The condition of the hotel is poor. Especially there is only 1 lock on the door, there should be more considering the safety for women.

A lot of things was really bad, but the service was by far the worst I have ever tried. Dont go!

The room I was given is the most dirty room I ve ever seen. I had to leave after 1 night.
