Richmond House Hotel

Ground floor room was great, clean and tidy room,tea and coffee and milk provided, good value for money great location, free parking space 😀

The only issue i had , I'm a sound sleeper,but got woken up 3 times between 01.00 - 03.00 with other guests coming and going slamming the front door, A sign the door would help

Nothing.

Very noisy from next door neighbours. The shower door was almost hanging off. The bed was lovely and soft but Rock hard pillows. Me and my husband got bit quite a bit from the bed itself. There were spots of blood on the bottom sheet and we found quite a few bed bugs and hairs that looked like dog hair.We were supposed to stay two nights but only ended up staying the Saturday 30th august. We returned home Saturday evening which actually spoiled our whole weekend visiting family and the air show. We would never return to Richmond house again. We never even met the proprietor as Apparantly he was at his other hotel. We would definitely not recommend this place to anyone especially room 9 which we were staying in. Apparently it was supposed to have been refurbished, but soon as we entered the property it was filthy to say the least.

Convenient location. Comfy room and clean.

The location was good, I like the fact that we have a microwave and kettle in the Room

I did not like the Shower. It was playing up all the time .Going from cold to Hot and we could not solve the problem. They mite need someone to look at it
