A quiet hotel.

A quiet woodland location but within walking distance of Ilfracombe. Lovely large Victoria property with large bedrooms. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel was spotless clean. The owners were friendly helpful and lovely people. Food good; so much so we could have ate more Will certainly recommend and definitley go back

The Hotel was very clean in a great location very easy to get to places from, the food was very nice with a good choice, Jenny and Roger were very friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us, Roger has a very good knowledge of the area and ware to go and what to see. Will defiantly go back.

Had a perfectly comfortable stay. Quite a pleasant little b and b. Very good breakfast good friendly service. Good for couples looking for peace and quiet. Bit dated but clean and tidy.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter. The B&B is in a quiet valley, very pretty around. It is a few mins drive from Ilfracombe town centre, you can probably walk as well and it would take around 15 mins or so. I would not recommend walking in the dark as there are no street lights around. The room was very clean but the bed was not the most comfortable. The owners were friendly and made us feel welcome. We felt safe and enjoyed our time in North Devon. Free parking is a bonus!

Characterful old house set in lovely garden, away from it all. Clean and comfortable, big bed. Excellent choice of breakfast and lots of it.Friendly host and helpful.No parking problems. Thoroughly enjoyed it would go again

We visited the Score Valley Hotel last week and it was very pleasant however I felt that it was more of a guest house than a Hotel and was overpriced . The room was clean and the hotel proprietors very pleasant . The en suite was no bigger than a broom cupboard and the rooms were cold without central heating although convector heating was evident ,The entrance off the main road was a bit dangerous and hard to spot after dark however we found an alternative way out down a narrow lane going towards Ilfracombe which would be the better alternative .Would stay again as we enjoyed it Thankyou .

Unfortunately the previous lodging makes this hotel seem worse than it was. The hotel was Comfortable, but the bed a little hard. Breakfast choice was a little restricted. only a choice between fried or scrambled eggs. Poached eggs or omelettes would have been a nice option. I would stay here again.

very secluded hotel, but extremely safe. Has dog walk on the grounds so easy for early morning dog needs! Expedia were supposed to of contacted the hotel to say I had 2 dogs, but they didn't call them. The hotel called me the day before departure about something else, when they knew I had 2 dogs they actually said the room I was booked into they didn't put dogs in, but they were so kind and still let me take my dogs and stay in the room which was a great relief. They were very accommodating and helped in any way they could all holiday. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. The main road runs above the hotel but there is no noise heard from the rooms.
