Novotel Zhengzhou Convention Centre

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights while on business in the area. The hotel Staff were very friendly, accommodating and spoke very good English. The rooms were modern, bed was very comfortable and overall a nice size. The breakfast buffet which was included is excellent. The only cons I had with this hotel was the construction noise all night due to some new infrastructure / building project across the street as well as getting hot water early in the morning, early AM cold shower was definitely not pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to travellers but be sure to ask for the side of the hotel away from the construction.

Hi everyone, I have visited Novotel Hotel a couple of times during my husband's work in China and I am still amazed by the professionalism and welcoming feeling that the hotel offers to their guests including ourselves. I would like to thank all Novotel staff for doing a wonderful job there, starting with the manager who is one of the best in the industry... I will always recommend visiting Novotel hotel for being a great place that always makes me want to come back...

정저우 컨벤션센터랑 가까워서 예약했는데, 생각보다 멀고, 인근 관광하기 쉽지 않아서 아쉬웠어요.

Have stayed at this Hotel, the interior design is magnificient and the Hotel views are also very very good. Only downside is that there is a lot of construction work going on around it, thus you might get some noise during the day. Apart from that, value for money and great stay.

침대시트도 깨끗하고 매일 청소도 해주시고 욕실도 넓은편이라서 좋았습니다. 침대가 편안하니 좋더라구요~ 전시장 이용하는데 직선거리로 완전가까웠어요~ 도보 10분거리에 쇼핑몰도 있어 식사나 마트이용 좋았습니다.

This could be a nice hotel but it is unfortunately a bit lacking. On arrival our room was stiflingly hot - the air con was turned off and they couldn't turn it back on. We were moved to a corner (and bigger) room which allowed us to open more windows and they gave us a fan which reduced the temperature a bit but it was still far too hot for comfort. The staff were very friendly and seemed as though they were trying to help but I am glad we only stayed 2 nights. The positives - The hotel has good facilities and is in a good location for the convention centre. It is a new hotel, very clean with a nice pool area, good bar in the lobby and excellent buffet breakfast.

good hotel and highly recommend it

It was christmas eve when the left leg of my 7 year old son got trapped at revolving door of the lobby. When we ask them to break the glass, staff did not agree. I was shocked and my son was crying and begging because of the pain. I was desperate and frustrated because my son can lose his leg anytime and the price of that revolving door is no much compared to the future of my son. I really appreciate some old Chinese people because of their concern. There was a language barrier but I felt their sympathy and request to break the glass. May God bless these people and those people who help us and send us to the hospital. May the hotel owner realize the danger of the revolving door and don't use it on their future hotels.

I am writing this review in addition to my recent review on ctrip as it will not allow me to edit my review there. "Upon check out i had asked for a taxi to the airport, the hotel arranged a taxi after waiting for 10 mins that would not go by tariff and asked for 150RMB, then he had to also switch another taxi/driver on the way as the drivers shift was soon to be over. The Hotel insisted that it will cost about the same and that no taxi would agree to go by taxi meter fare., then i waited for another taxi and hotel couldnt arrange anything, waiting further 10-15 mins i had to walk out with my baggage and by going to the main street which is like only 2 mins walk from hotel, i was able to hire a taxi by myself and there was no argument about using tariff or anything like that, the driver behaved well and it cost me a total of only 99 RMB. This is slap on hotels face, who insist something that is not right just because we are foreigners and lack understanding on local languages, they think its ok to steal our money and cheat us."
