Novotel Zhengzhou Convention Centre

綺麗なホテル。 移動は少し不便。

Stayed one night for business trip. Temperature in Zhengzhou was low, less than 10C, but the room is not warm at all even the switched air-con to 32c. The bathroom is big, shower next to the window that people on the street may look through the window. The choices of food for buffet breakfast, good value for room price at about RMB600.

It was a nice hotel.

Very nice rooms, new and spacious. Great location, close to CBD, exhibition center and local amenities. Will stay here again.

While the room was comfortable, I found the inconsistency of the overall hotel to be unacceptable. In my first room, which they had me move out of for no apparent reason, the power plugs did not work. They repaired them. The coffee service was not refreshed and no amount of contacting front desk resolved the issue. My second room was smaller and there also the plugs did not work. I asked to have them repaired but that never happened. The food in the restaurant was highly overpriced, inconsistent in content and bland. The service in the restaurant was good. I've stayed in many hotels in Asia and this was below my expectations.

No one can speak even fair english, and so you quit many of your plans.

Hotel was generally very good. It is new and clean with comfortable room. Staff was courteous. Not close to a metro stop--it is a 15 minute walk to the nearest station (for us it was during a very cold January). You need to take a taxi or bus to get to the city center. The neighborhood is residential without many restaurants or shops for visitors.
