Golf View Hotel

The property was very clean. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The complementary breakfast was excellent. The only issue was the TV not working, Apparently there was a problem with the cable company. I would stay there again.

Front desk staff was exceptionally efficient and helpful. The property in under renovation but that does not interfere with the guests.

The only positive things I can report on is the large room/suite, friedlyness ,courtesy and helpfullnes of the staff. Every thing else is poor. The breakfasts did not include Jamaica national dish (Ackerman and salt fish), the service for meals was slow, towels took a while to be refreshed (room cleaned int he day, towels replaced at night), and the worse was a noisy concert on a Sunday night, I mean really? Why not Friday or Saturday night?

There was no working desk phone to make calls to front desk, hit and miss hot water availability, poor WI-FI, no Handicap accessibility and we were placed on the 3rd floor. Loud music at night. Horrible experience!! Golf view Stay.

The staff is always friendly as usual, clean and quiet. Nice pool and property (still under updating construction). Rom furniture and bed needs upgrading. Shower needs a water wall, a lot of water ends up on the outside floor making it very dangerous to slipping and falling. Hotel should pay attention to that as that is a liability if someone where to take a serious fall. Kitchen got our food order wrong. This was my second stay, would stay again. Location is good its convenient,

We liked that entry to the property is highly regulated. Staff was very courteous and respectful.

They need to close the place for renovations The bathroom didn’t work properly from the first day,the telephone in room don’t work There was a leak from the ceiling There was no microwave no iron Everything was bad

Very noisy with kids in pool for a very long time. Bathroom has an aweful smell, good thing I had brought my room freshener. No table in room for dining, I had to eat on the bed. I definitely would not stay here again, nor encouraged friends or families to stay here.

When i arrived to the hotel on 7/28 guests were ahead of me and my family and we were told you are welcome to go to the lounge for drinks. my husband and son went to lounge and they were dressed in nice tshirt and matching shorts and was told they were not allowed to come in because they look like they just left the GYM. how rude to tell a guest that! then when i checked in i aske to extend my stay for extra night i was told the double room that i booked i would have to cancel and rebook a excutive room for EXTRA NIGHT what sense does that make when its available on line to book. i also requested for the renovated excutive room for myself i got the room that had peeled cielings in the room and bathroom. then we wentto breakfast and the server passed us several times and noticed us 10 min later and asked how is everthing i said well we have food no silverware ,water! then the day of check out they had a guest that walking through hotel with a short skirt and no panties and a big backside and front desk said shes a paying guest really. we look like we just came from the gym but she can walk around nasty and not the proper attire. i have been a guest here in the past i will not be back!!!! our attire is not appropriate at the lounge but the room is apropriate for guests. veiw the photos.

Please do no stay here. It’s a motel and a dump. They were easter bugs everywhere like over 100, out side your door, in your bathroom, in the sink and bath tub. They had us in 1/2 finish renovated rooms with holes in the wall. Wires were everywhere, furniture was torn with cigarettes burns The toilet stop flushing and my daugther had to fill up buckets of water to flush the toilet. It was a disaster. We only stayed here for a funeral in mandeville. The staff was friendly and the manager give us a free dinner, but it was not worth the trouble and the horrible experience. Tje pool was dirty. The entire place should be torn down and rebuild. Bath was flooding daily and mirror you could not see your face in since it was too high. Bulbs were missing. It was just horrific.
