Small room for me located on second floor but good restaurant English service, nice spa and sauna and good services. Breakfast small but OK. Best hotel in tata for sure close to Lake and castle... 7min from the highway

The oldest hotel in Tata since 1762. Great staff very polite, starting from the reception with very good english knowledge. Hotel is refurbished has a nice spa with different saunas , swiimming pool , jacuzzi and swimming pool. Very nice interior terracce which make you feel living in 18-th century. About the restaurant...what can I say....delicious food with famous hungarian paprika...served with chilli..and a special local fish dish. The dessert ..you need to try the apple pie with icecream. Regardung drinks you don't need to miss a wide range of palinka with different taste..apricot..plums..cranberries..pears..apple. Wide range of very special wines and as dessert the best Tokai that i ever drunk. At the end...a place in Tata wher definetely i will come again

This is a nice and convenient hotel. Good beds in a quit room and a bathroom with a good shower. The breakfast is basic but ok. What else is needed when traveling for work? I also had dinner in the restaurant. There is enough choice and the food is really good.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good food and cool bar. Came in winter, so the courtyard in the middle was full of snow, but looks like a nice place to enjoy a beer in better weather. Restaurant is a good option, with others nearby. Rooms are good - nice to have a balcony door that opens for fresh air.

This is a nice old hotel. The rooms are fine but there are things to improve.

LOCATION- 5/5 AMBIANCE - 3/5 SERVICE- 3/5 FOOD- 3/5 COMFORT- 5/5 This hotel has a great spa, thermal bath room, underground bar and billiard table, a conference room, parking, laundry! They even have a safe in the rooms to keep your valuables. We saw two different kinds of rooms and the one we stayed in was single big bed and it was a cramped room, the photos of which I have shared. But I liked the room. It was cozy, the bed was super comfortable and clean and the room had an antiquey feeling to it. The sheets are the softest. Opening the window kept the room cool. But I would say not a good place to stay in summer. The price per night is average. Breakfast options in comparison to 5-7 star hotels wasn't good at all. And if you are a breakfast person I would not suggest to opt for complementary breakfast buffet. But if you are looking for a quick bite, it would be good. Though the variety of teas they offer is incredible. They don't have food served after breakfast till 5pm. The staff is friendly but could be more engaging. The massage lady was very kind and friendly. It was a relaxing Swedish massage. So all the major sight-seeing spots are 5 minutes walk away from this hotel. If that's what is the most important factor then go ahead and book your stay in this place.

The hotel building is nice, room is of a good size, pleasant and equip with the basic, reception service is very good. The breakfast spread is normal, sufficient for good breakfast. Hotel able to help arrange transport which is good.

Hotel un po decadente con una nuova ala a cui ci hanno fatto accedere con tanto di valigie sotto una pioggia scrosciante, poi abbiamo scoperto per caso che c'era modo di passare agevolmente dall'interno. La camera, probabilmente, era ricavata da una terrazza ed era molto calda, brutta e piena di tessuti e arredi vecchi e polverosi. Sicuramente non corrispondeva alle foto delle camere che abbiamo visto al momento della prenotazione.

Arrived late but the reception was open as well as they still could offer us food in the restaurant - good. The hotel seems to have along history and of course refurbished over the years. The rooms are maybe not to latest modern standard but offer a good sleeping comfort. Fairly good breakfast buffé.
