Property was clean. Bed was fine. Not in a great neighborhood. Took a long time to get checked in. “Breakfast” was limited to cereal and packaged sweet rolls.

Not for families There is a sign in the lobby that says “After the guest is checked in the room the guest will not be refunded/not be given any kind of compensation for any reason whatsoever.” It’s very obvious the man running the hotel is 100% transactional. The story. Checked in very late to a room that was dirty with a vomiting child and a baby who licks and touches everything. See pics attached - wiped filth from kitchen counter on baby wipes. Decided to stay 1 night because felt bad that we woke up desk attendant to check us in and who wants to have an argument at 3:45 am. Also trying to be decent thinking it’s too late for them to rent to someone else. Next morning came down to lobby very calm and said this isn’t going to work it’s dirty and old and the neighborhood isn’t safe I don’t want to stay the last two nights with sick kids probably going to get more sick. The guy Mr. Patel I think his name is was very irritable, talking over me, getting angry. Multiple times while still staying calm myself I asked him to calm down. It seemed even his wife was telling him from behind and he rudely told her to be quiet. He blamed me for not telling him at 4 am when I told him the reason why - if I could barely get a word in with him talking over me in a raised voice. Could also barely barely fit a minivan into the last open spot. Crazy tight parking all around. Finally knowing full well that having booked a third party there might be no way to force a refund, I quickly gathered up my family and left after him getting all irate. I don’t want to have anything to do with this jerk so we left. The hotel itself might be a low tier way to save some money if you are pretty tolerant and just there for work. I’d bring extra wipes though so you’d feel safe using the dirty kitchen. The man running it though is reason enough to stay away entirely. People like this don’t belong in a hospitality business - wish he was in a franchise because I highly doubt he could get away with treating people like this and that lobby sign. Class A jerk! The third party stepped in and did his job and refunded me a token $50 while he refused to help and deliberately did not come to the lobby while I was waiting there while the third party called him. It’s a very busy time for the final four and he was booked solid as he offered to show us a couple alternate rooms but all were being cleaned. Wasn’t going to wait a couple hours to see them - his nasty personality was more than enough reason to leave no matter the cost, but I’m confident the other rooms would have been the same he actually hinted that as well. I’m certain this jerk will have that room rented tonight and tomorrow and get paid double. Only transactional - cares zero about guests clearly. It’s a pretty classic example of a hotel that was bought old and beat up; repairs done to the largest areas to make it appear renovated. Then all the details of the aesthetics etc left behind and corners cut. So it can look decent for photography and quick glance. But when you actually look closer or pass a cleaning wipe - you’re like crap -not worth saving the money at all.

The area around the motel is not great. It's not bad, but it can be a little concerning. The motel has no control over this and to their credit, their property is clean, well maintained and very nice. The room was large, clean, very well maintained and excellent place to sleep at night.

Nice and quiet but rooms need clean. Walls need washed door handles and behind the bed has dust

Refused to refund our money as we were unable to attend graduation at Lackland Air Base. The hotel pocketed the money without a refund even with a weeks notice. Even though due to unforeseen circumstances bring that my step son was coming home from basic training before graduation.

Value for money

Did not stay checked into room. Should have known by sign that said once you check in no refund. They know people won’t stay. The sheets were dirty hair on bed. Just didn’t feel safe so we didn’t even stay went to different hotel. When went to turn in keys no one even came out to see so I just put the thru the window

Good experience and I was happy to be close to the base but I like to walk a lot and I didn't feel comfortable doing that in the area.

The room fit our needs for a quick visit for a Lackland AFB graduation. The room appeared clean, beds were fine, kitchen was well stocked (cookware, dishes, silverware, dishwashing liquid, etc). Everything was going well until the last night of our visit. We started getting attacked by fleas in our bathroom (didn't find them anywhere other than the bathroom). We caught a large quite a few by making a trap out of dishwashing liquid and water. The next morning, I took several fleas imprisoned in a zip lock bag to the check-in office before checking out. The owner/manager said that they would have their pest control company come out and treat the room. Hopefully that took care of the problem. Still not sure how fleas got into the room. There are no pets allowed at the facility, nor did we see any while there. Unfortunately, we had to spend time treating our luggage and washing/drying all of our clothing to make sure we didn't bring any fleas or their eggs into our home after the trip.

Close to everything, Riverwalk, Sea Life, lots more. Even though I was here for a wedding, time was limited. A return visit is on the list.
