Pirates Village

Came with a group of 9 mixed adults and children, ages 1-8. The hotel isn’t all inclusive… if you book I’d recommend self catering. We requested a bottom floor room with a garden which we didn’t get. The rooms themselves are tacky and need updating. Some rooms have been refurbished I think this isn’t fair when you have guests paying thousands all guests should get the same experience. All the rooms come with a kitchen and table which again isn’t for all inclusive guests.. there’s no free ice creams for the kids which I’ve never heard of on holiday, charging 4 euro per ice cream as a family of 4 or 5 this is expensive. The drinks will give you alcohol poisoning and the food is shocking. Hardly any variety and most of us had diaharrea the whole time we stayed. We also spoke to other families who had experienced the same. The cleaners didn’t clean, most days we came back to glasses still in our rooms and ash trays unemptied, having to ask reception for toilet roll. My nephew was sick one night and the bed sheets were left in the room untaken. Online it’s advertised as heated pools where there is in fact one heated pool, no adults are allowed on the slides which was upsetting for the younger children who were scared to go down themselves. There is also a charge for the first two rows of entertainment which is baffling as an all inclusive guest we’ve already spent thousand to be here. There isn’t much for younger children in the evenings, a tiny slide and bouncers off to one side of the dining room.. The entertainment however is good the pirates put on a good show but aren’t like any other animation team that spend time dancing etc around the pools. We stayed may - June and for some reason on our last two days the limit for drinks went from however many you like to two per person, which is hard when you’ve got little ones and sitting in the balcony to drink and watch entertainment as there is nothing for them to do. I won’t return to pirates village & am disappointed with what we’ve paid for and what we’ve received I holiday twice a year and this if the worst by far.

We recently stayed at Pirates Village and overall had a good family holiday. The positives were definitely the entertainment, which was excellent, and the staff, who were all very friendly and fantastic with our toddler. The pools were great, especially the splash pool, which our little girl loved. The rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the location is ideal with everything within easy reach. We also appreciated being allowed to continue using our all-inclusive bands after check-out until we left for the airport. There were a few areas that could be improved. Our room wasn't cleaned during our 3-night stay and we didn't receive fresh towels unless we asked for them. The food was average and the all-inclusive drinks and cocktails were disappointing, with many tasting watered down. It was also frustrating that some drinks required an extra charge despite being on an all-inclusive package. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay and created some lovely family memories. Pirates Village is a great choice for families with young children, mainly because of the excellent entertainment, facilities, and welcoming staff.

Amazing. So clean, plenty on for the kids, great entertainment, not one complaint we had the best time and will be back next year!

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Pirates village. It was our first time staying here and we were completely impressed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay run seemlessly and to give us a wonderful holiday. The pools were spotless and we appreciated that they were heated. My children were in the pools all day and absolutely loved them, including the slides, which were perfect for my children aged five and seven. They also enjoyed the kids club and the staff were really lovely and friendly. The shows at night were incredible, especially the musicals one and the staff performing them were amazing! My children also loved the fun mini disco. The location of the hotel is brilliant and just a five minute walk to the sandy beach. The staff on reception were helpful and on hand if we ever needed anything. Our rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Towels were provided in the room but you need to bring your own for around the pool. We opted for the all-inclusive package and enjoyed the choices of wines, beers, and some cocktails. Some local spirits were also included. We loved the freshly made pizzas, meats and fish every day and there was a wonderful salad bar. There was also a live cooking station for grilled vegetables, various fish and other meat daily. My daughter has coeliac disease and the chef catered for her brilliantly. They ensured she had separate provisions for gluten-free items and cooked everything in separate areas and brought them straight over to her. They took it really seriously and we cannot thank them enough, especially Francisco, Jose (chefs) and Corina in the dining room who always made sure my daughter had everything that she needed. They were so thoughtful and this really made our holiday so much easier as it can be very difficult and my daughter can be very ill. The restaurant itself was lovely and there was a pleasant Terrace area where we could watch the children play as we dined. There were always plenty of seats available and there were lots of staff always cleaning and restocking the buffet. We absolutely loved our week here and would love to return in the future.

Es war sauber und man war stets bemüht um unsere Wünsche zu Erfüllen. Wir hatten ein anderes Zimmer erhalten als gebucht was etwas schade für den kleinen war konnten dennoch damit leben. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und das Personal herzallerliebst. Für Familienurlaub echt perfekt und es wird dank dem Rahmenprogramm nie langweilig. Wenn man nicht all in bucht und die Küche auf dem Zimmer nutzt, welche ausreichend ist, könnte man dank Supermarkt direkt nebenan auch noch etwas sparen.

Hatten all inklusive gebucht und doch gab es einige Sachen die man extra zahlen musste um bessere Leistung und Getränke zu erhalten.
