Days Inn by Wyndham Grove

I'm handicapped & a truck with a bass boat was parked in front of my handicapped room ..I would suggest bars in the shower & a chair or handicapped stationary bench .I could not shower.wexwere in town for my husband's funeral I'd requested a late check out when I 1st called as it was at 3:00. I had to leave at noon with nowhere to go

no breakfast as advertised

My travel to this days in was lack luster... the internet was down...no breakfast...like advertised until i checked in...hotel needa updating... common areas had low lighting to save power. Pool was under repair. The room smelled like it had been bathed in lysol... tub was stained... a chair was propped against adjoinging room door almost to stop it being opened. Tissue was stuffed into peephole For the price point i paid it was too high... 65 to 70 night would have been ok...not over 100 a night. Bed was new and comfortable

Everything was good but sink wasn’t draining very well.

Pool not accessible..staff not understandable at times. Room was not cleaned and beds not made for the second day we were there...checked in on a Sunday and checked out Tuesday

room was clean and updated. Hotel try to look updated with exterior paint but missed the mark in many places. door entrances to room was beat up and dented ( as a woman traveling alone that was a little unnverving) lobby was very simple and understated. but clean and organized. Small town hotel feel. All I needed was a clean place to lay my head for a few nights while visiting a dying relative. Otherwise I might have cared more.

Pool was in terrible shape and half empty. Shower head was disgusting and needed to be replaced a long time ago. Outside of building needs cleaning.

Had a reservation to stay here and things changed called a day in advance to cancel reservation the front desk lady said she got it and no charges would be done, fast forward a few days later I get charged$ 124.42 of what the said is a no show charge even though I cancelled my reservation. Been fighting with this location for a month now and they refuse to reimburse me .

Clean

The shower’s floor needs to have a shower mat. It was very slippery. I went to the front desk to ask about getting more bath towels and got asked a lot of questions of why I needed more towels. I guess they were afraid I was going to steal them?

The bed was comfortable

The water had a terrible odor, I couldn't brush my teeth or take a shower. The bath tubs were full of dust and spiders, the light bulb was hanging out of one of the lamps and could've caught fire. There were no extra pillows or blankets when 5 people were booked in the suite. Thank God only 2 of us went. The remote was sticky, I washed it off and black grime, sticky transferred to the wash cloth. A very dingy room. I could've stayed at a strip motel and paid much less for the same and possibly a better experience.
