The location is perfect. The property provided a portacot and high chair for our child. They had kayaks and life jackets and snorkelling gear available. The staff were lovely. There were hoses available for use, handy for getting the sand off before going to your room. They facilitated an early check in (10:30) which was very much appreciated! The room was tidy and clean. All essentials were provided. Air conditioning was great. Sufficient linen provided. We loved this property

The stairs did make it hard, especially being pregnant and having a toddler, wouldn’t not book because of it but something to be aware of! There was also some black hairs around the room but understandably they’re easy to miss when cleaning.

Views of the river and ocean beyond! Space in the living room was great! Walking distance to good food options!

One small air conditioner in the main living area was a little underpowered. There were ceiling fans in the bedrooms though which made sleeping comfortable, even on the hot night it was

"Overall, it was a good stay"

The location was amazing—we could see the beach and ocean right from our room. There’s a beautiful walk to the V-Wall and it’s a short drive to Captain Cook Lookout. We stayed for one night on our way back from Queensland, and we’re already planning to return for a longer, more relaxing stay. A beautiful place to unwind and spend time with family.
