The hosts were vey helpful and the accommodation suited our needs, specially with elderly parents who needed downstairs access and minimal steps. The beds were comfy and the facilities within the property were great.

The owners have dogs (which are lovely and very mild mannered) who do show up occasionally, which is ok for people who don't mind or who love dogs but that might be unsettling to people who have allergies or who may not like dogs.

Lovely character cottage, comfortable and clean.

We stayed for the weekend in the Potato Shed Double Ensuite room. It was a lovely room and had everything we needed in there. It was in a great location for our needs. A short walk to The George pub and to the town of Bradford on Avon for the train into Bath. We also had a lovely breakfast across the road on our departure. The owners were in touch by messages to make sure we were enjoying our stay and to check if we needed anything. A beautiful location, would definitely think of staying again when in the area again for our family get togethers in Trowbridge!

Very quiet. Lovely warm and comfortable room, bed was excellent. Lovely separate bathroom with large roll top bath.

Nothing particularly. It was as described and good location with a nice walk through the fields to local pub (The George) and into Bradford on Avon.

Not much to dislike for a short stay but the ensuite room (clue is in the title) is not really suitable for self-catering. It was very cold when we stayed and it was hard to bring the bathroom up to a comfortable temperature. Could also hear guests in the adjoining room.

Lovely conversation of a cow shed

The roof bunnies, all night long they were scratching, the electrics were on an extension lead on an extension lead which led to a trip out when too much load was used, and the room was not serviced during our stay. The mail received on departure time included a message that we were expected to sort out our rubbish for recycling, but only one small bin bag was supplied, meaning we had to go through our rubbish to recycle it. Apart from that the room was lovely.
