Wat een prachtige plek. Geweldige tuin met fruitbomen en een prima zwembad. Kortom: dé uitvalsbasis om heerlijk tot rust te komen. Supervriendelijke, lieve mensen die erg meedachten. Leuke wandelroutes vanuit de b&b en niet superver van het strand. Elke ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt na een rustige nacht in een heerlijk bed.

Este B&B é um verdadeiro oásis, um reduto escondido perto da aldeia de Alferce, em Monchique. A Karin e o Dirk-Jan são super-anfitriões, e receberam-nos com enorme simpatia e disponibilidade. Rodeado de jardins maduros, de um verde luxuriante e fresco, abençoado pelas águas abundantes da serra, sentimo-nos aqui como num pequeno paraíso. Desfrutámos da piscina refrescante durante o dia, e do jacuzzi retemperador, com água quentinha, sob o estrelado céu noturno para relaxar as nossas pernas, cansadas dos lindíssimos circuitos pedestres (Pequenas Rotas, 2 das quais passam frente à propriedade). O pequeno-almoço é delicioso, com granola caseira e frutos do jardim, ou os crepes salgados. O quarto era espaçoso e a cama muito confortável. Ótimo para astronomia amadora: levei o telescópio e desfrutei, juntamente com os nossos entusiastas anfitriões e outros hóspedes, de um céu noturno estável e pouca poluição luminosa a cerca de 600 metros de altitude. É um sítio para desconectar e retemperar forças.

Não há muitas opções para comer nas imediações; apenas um restaurante na aldeia de Alferce que fica a 15 minutos a pé. No entanto, Monchique oferece opções (a 10 min de carro) e no B&B existe uma cozinha exterior bem equipada e muito agradável, onde pudemos preparar as nossas refeições ao final do dia.

It is a really lovely place, a couple of minutes away by car from the Monchique village. The location is a bit remote, which makes it perfect to relax, enjoy the silence, and get some headspace away from the rush of work and the city. The hosts are a fantastic Dutch couple, super kind and caring. You can tell that the place was created with a lot of care and attention to detail, and the breakfast is always excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and the whole experience. If you are looking for a place to rest, recharge, or even work while having that headspace, this is a fantastic choice.

There is nothing to be mentioned in terms of improvement.

Woow! The best hotel in my life. Amazing time together with owners of the hotel. 100 % recommendation for everyone. This people knows what they do and always improving it. Honestly speaking we stayed one additional day, just to enjoy it more deeply!
