Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion

A fantastic place, managed with so much love. Renovating this beautiful house to the level it is now has been a life’s work, as the owner told us on the Friday morning guided tour. We loved everything here: The huge room, the high ceiling, the blue decor, the friendly and efficient staff.

Very beautiful hotel with interesting history. Amaizing lobby, very helpfull staff. Spasoius rooms and bathroom. Very nice historical building inside and outside. We visited the George Town to stay in this hotel actually. Very well renovated building. Located in the center not far from main attractions.

Massive room and big bed. AC plus fan so room always cool. Water very hot so be careful. Beautifual building. Do take the guided tour if you can (free to hotel guests). The guy who leads it is very knowledgeable and so enthusiastic. Despite the racket from the Red Garden next door (which you.must visit) the noise levels were ok and we got a good night's sleep. Earplugs were provided during our stay (but maybe because it was Chinese New Year) but we didn't need to use them. Very good breakfast. Proper fresh fruit juice. Cooked option. We hired a car during our stay - free parking at the hotel. As the hotel is on the edge of old George Town, it's fairly easy to access. Don't drive through Central Georgetown if you can. Walk or get a Grab. Good music at Mangga and great staff. Even though when we arrived the kitchen had closed they still managed to rustle up a salad and some chips for us. Hotel bar quiet when we visited; tried the Chang Yu riesling (from China) which was actually rather nice).

Heel mooi gebouw en mooie luxe sfeervolle kamers. Zeer attent personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Leuk om een cocktail te drinken aan de bar, live piano muziek op de achtergrond. Veel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand.

We had a standard room that was lovely but a bit dark

Cet endroit est à l’endroit majestueux avec une belle histoire. C’était un bonheur d’y séjourner 2 nuits.

Le seul et l’unique bémol c’est le bruit le soir jusqu’à minuit D’ailleurs ils sont conscients de ça car ils nous mettent des boules Quies sur notre table de nuit.

なかなかジャグジーのスイッチをオンにしてもらえなかったか。3度交渉してやっと入れてもらえた。しかし、入れてからは、止めてもらえなかった。こちらは2度の交渉で止めてもらえた。シャワーの出が悪い。
