Patong Hemingway's Hotel

We spent a week in nay here and found the staff and owner to be very friendly and helpful...hotel is in a nice quiet spot but still only a minute or two from the bustling night life....will be back in touch steve👍

.....stayed in this hotel for 3 nights! Within minutes you are on the beach or on 'bangla road', but it's still a quiete place for relaxing! You have everything you need around here, the restaurant is also good, and the stuff very, very friendly! Highly recommended....!

Booked via Agoda for about 55$ a night. Check in was courteousand was provided a room on second floor. Room was decent sized, clean, but with some tear and wear. Hard queen bed, large LCD TV with bad image, and few international channels. Bathroom was clean, with good towels. Breakfast was decent with a mix of thai and Western foods. Chicken yellow curry was great. Pool on top roof was smallish but had good view. Got a free cocktail at checkin. Price of booze decent. Beach is about 10 minutes walk from hotel. They do lend towels which is nice. YungCeylon is less than 5 minutes walk. Great location.

Good location Not as well kept as during my last visit

5 star for the location is perfect for everything . 5 star for the rooms are kept very clean from all the house keepers. 4 star for Front Reception staff. Now comes the bad points about the hotel. I have stayed here a few times and could not faulter it but this time I have a few faults. 1. The Breakfast was the worsted I've ever had since I've ever been to Thailand and have taken a few photos to prove it. 2. The shower pressure in certain rooms are so slow I can p**s harder then that. 3.ordered poached eggs and I get 2 eggs in microwave on a plate and then over cooked .I asked the cook please cook poached eggs in water and a tea spoon of vinegar and I get eggs that were cooked in vinegar Yuck. I wanted to talk a owner manager and they said I can see him at 1 of the Bars they own on Soi Bangla. The reason I voted 1 star is because of the faults . Below pictures is the food they served for the whole hotel everyday that is very very poor quality and quantity .

We have been to Phuket many times (see our other hotel reviews) and have stayed at the two other Hemingway hotels (Silk and the original Hemingway's) but this was our first time at Patong Hemingway's. The hotel is the closest of the three to Soi Bangla which is just a short walk away. The hotel is situated just off Soi Sansabai and is much quieter than being on the main strip. The hotel has a small but nice pool on the roof with a bar and downstairs there is restaurant and another bar. The rooms have the essentials and was good value for money (we stayed for 7 nights in the off peak for just £120). The bed on the first night was a bit hard (personal preference) but the receptionist moved us without fuss on the second day. All in all a good value hotel in a good location.

Great room for the price, Central to everything

Good location but due to the Renovation to hotel next door a lot of hammering drilling noise echoes throughout the block.had to relax.rooms OK Wi-Fi good.breakfast OK.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and beautiful!

I have stayed at Patong Hemingways for many years now, and I have always found everything about this Hotel to be superb. But on this occasion my room was downgraded but without any discount. Not a huge concern, just a little disappointing, especially when the Hotel was not booked out. I would not hesitate to stay there again, but would hope for a better outcome on getting what you pay for.
