Patong Hemingway's Hotel

The hotel is ideal for the nightlife which is only two minutes walk and for jungceylon centre only a minute more also the location is very quiet for noise.The staff are great and do the most to make the stay A1. Quality towels and bedding changed every day and for the cost i would highly recommend this hotel....

We stayed at this hotel. This hotel is really bad. In the middle of my shower - there were no hot water at hotel. Called the front desk - they told me that it will be available after 2 hours. Screw this hotel - lucky I only booked one day - breakfast - not my standard. not to many choice. Curry was very spicy - I was not able to eat. I will never stay here again. I know why people rating this hotel high numbers. Most probably they never stayed in hotel before. Very poor lighting. Bad hotel molds everywhere.

Stayed at the hotel during Songkran. The rooms have comfortable beds and high quality linens and towels. Air conditioner worked great and we slept well the entire visit. Hotel is a 5 minute walk to Bangla Road. The rooms was kept very clean. The hotel is just far enough away so that it is relatively quiet at night. I had a very good stay except for one incident. The roof top pool is a little on the small side. The staff was very friendly. The WiFi was inconsistent in our room. The few umbrellas at the pool are in need of repair. We stayed at the hotel during Songkran (aka the biggest water fight in the world). We did not want to participate in the water fight and decided to eat dinner at the hotel and avoid the activities outside. There was not much water fighting right outside the hotel. While we were eating dinner inside the hotel a young French man with many tattoos came inside and started squirting us with water while I had my iPad. A fight almost ensued as the man was yelling derogatory comments about Americans. The man was not a guest at the hotel. I was surprised that no hotel staff asked the man to leave as water fighting was for outside and he was not a guest.

This is a clean affordable hotel ,walking distance to the mall and Bangla rd. 10 minutes to the beach. The staff is helpful and very professional Don’t recommend the breakfast, roof pool is great. The wi fi works will. Have returned and will again

This is my go to hotel in Patong. It is reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and professional. It is walking distance to the Mall and to Walking Street. The wi fi worked really well. Roof top pool is nice. I highly recommend the hotel though I wouldn’t include the breakfast

Good location Has swimming pool + bar Restaurant has a good selection,had an evening meal that was nice,did not have breakfast Staff are friendly and informative Stayed in deluxe room,which was spacious,had small balcony Bathroom is small but ok,shower pressure ok Very little noise from outside Can book tours and has a taxi service,which l used for the airport Overall a good stay and would recommend this hotel for families,couples or solo travelers

A number of things left a lot to be desired. Maintenance poor, 4 issues reported, only two attended too. Had lunch at the pool, food was simply unrecognisable as chicken cashew nuts. The bar at the pool ran out of tequila. The room has cockroaches and the balcony was too small to sit out. Wi-fi worse than poor the only area with reasonable strength was the pool. Room kept dropping out.
