The Kampung Ubud Villa

The staff were very pleasant and well meaning. Very responsive even if they couldnt do anything. Rooms were big and pool view matched the photos and was nice once you got in the water

Where to start? First the uncontrollables: villa is a good 45mins from centre of ubud in traffic/peak. Villa complex is next door to some noisy residential homes and a farm. Insects and lizards are a feature of any hotel here, but we found it especially predominant in our rooms. Controlables: Breakfast is not good/no buffet and restrictive. Bathrooms are overexposed and unusable in bad weather. Pool and bathrooms in need of significant upgrade due to cracked tiles etc. Overall not worth the money. It could be a good budget option for some but we found it was really a negative for us staying in Ubud.

I loved the privacy of my villa. My host was very gracious. I would absolutely go back!

La villa, le jardin, la piscine et les chambres sont sublimes. C'est un décor vraiment très soigné et très joli qui donne envie de rester cocooner toute la journée !

Les lits n'étaient pas équipés de moustiquaires, alors que la chambre était semi-ouverte sur l'extérieur. Nous avons été dévorés par les moustiques malgré les produits anti-moustiques que nous avions mis sur notre peau. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits et, à cause de cela, nous avons eu hâte de repartir. Nos enfants ont eu des dizaines et des dizaines de piqures sur le visage et tout le corps. Cela faisait peine à voir. Quand nous en avons parlé à la réception, ils nous ont seulement indiqués qu'il y avait à l'origine des moustiquaires autours des lits et qu'elles ont été enlevés depuis pour réparation. Ils ne nous ont pas proposés de solutions alternatives ou la mise à dispositions de produits anti-moustiques plus efficaces. Cela nous a gachés notre séjour dans cette villa qui, pourtant, était très jolie et assez chère. C'est trop dommage.

Wij hadden de 4 persoons Vila. Heel groot en mooi met twee los staande skaalpkamers en grote badkamers. Privé zwembad ertussen. Alles wordt voor je geregeld door 't vriendelijke personeel. Vlak ernaast is een volleybalveld waar de locals wedstrijden spelen. Leuk om tussen 't publiek mee te kijken.

Enige nadeel dat ik kan noemen is dat er valt te ruiken dat er wordt of is gerookt in de kamers.

Die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten, das gute Essen, und die Ausstattung der Villa(wir hatten NIRVANA). Sehr groß mit Riesen Pool in einem toll angelegten Garten. Alles für uns alleine, keiner hat uns gestört. Man konnte sich das Frühstück und anderes Essen auch auf die Villa bringen lassen ohne extra Kosten. Super Service und immer netter Kontakt.

Die Beleuchtung im Schlafbereich und Bad. Ist für so große Räume zu dunkel gewesen(das ist aber meckern auf hohem Niveau), bisschen heller wäre besser damit man auch am Abend seine Sachen besser findet. Sonst gibt es nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat. Paar Kleiderbügel mehr im Schrank wäre noch von Vorteil.

La villa e' spaziosa, intima e ideale per coppie di amici o famiglie che possono godere della privacy garantita dalla presenza di due camere da letto molto grandi, ma separate dalla piscina presente in giardino.Tra le camere da letto (fornite fi divano, poltrona e tavolo)e il bagno si trova anche una piccola anticamera con il guardaroba.Il patio presente nella villa per la colazione/conversazione e' molto accogliente e la cucina fornita di tutto il necessario. I bagni sono funzionali e puliti.Il personale sempre molto gentile e disponibile.Pulizia di tutti gli ambienti impeccabile.La Villa e' consigliata a chi non vuole vedere troppi turisti intorno a sé e cerca un po' di privacy e tranquillità ad un prezzo ragionevole.Girando nei dintorni abbiamo percepito l'autenticità del luogo e abbiamo osservato senza invadenza la preparazione di una cerimonia nel villaggio affianco.

La colazione servita in villa e' "sufficiente". Bisognerebbe poter offrire piu scelta. La frutta e' stata sempre insipida, e questa per essere a Bali, e' stata una grande delusione.La villa e' in una posizione decentrata e nei dintorni non c'e' quasi nulla, tuttavia e' strategica per alcuni tour perché evita il passaggio dal traffico di Ubud quindi consigliata a chi dispone di moto o auto. Inoltre abbiamo provato due ristoranti che si trovano a 5 minuti a piedi, veramente molto eleganti e buoni e ci e' sembrato di vedere un warung locale molto carino con tavoli e musica per più giovani proprio dietro l'angolo.

Very private and quiet, great price for a two bedroom Villa with private pool. The staff are super helpful and friendly.
