Phuwadee Resort & Spa

We found the resort good. If you want a budget option on an expensive and stunning beach. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and close to the beach. We stayed here and used the pool at the lovely expensive resort just a few doors up. The area is beautiful and is good to spend time and see the north east coast.

Perfect for those who don’t mind the quietness, for those who want to run away from the crowd and enjoy their own paradise:) The beach looks stunning, though the waves are sometimes too harsh for swimming, be careful! Otherwise it’s very clean and almost empty for you to feel like you’re on a private tropical island. The sand is beautifully tiny and pleasant to walk on, the bottom of the sea is perfectly safe, no corals. When it was too windy we would easily walk to the neighbouring Tong Nai Pan Yai beach – not as pretty, but without waves. The hotel itself is amazingly cosy and has everything one might need, the quality is great for this price! The reception closes at 9 and the stuff is sometimes sleepy or just absent, but all in all nice, friendly and laid back. We absolutely loved the massage service by the beach, thank you so much for an hour in heaven – must try! The pool is pretty, the breakfasts are sufficient and well made (though not a buffet – just several sets for you to choose, including a fried egg, an omelette, muesli, chicken soup, and other stuff like toasts, fruits and juice – makes you feel full for the rest of the day). The room was nicely cleaned every day, the beds were comfy (though there were no blanket covers – just two sheets and a blanket in between:) The bathroom and everything else was working perfectly well. We did feel like home and fell in love with this quiet paradise island. All in all, this resort is great for a budget hotel, we would recommend it to friends.

Me & my family stayed here for 3 nights while travelling around the islands of Thailand. When I 1st arrived my thoughts were that the place is awfully dirty & why have I stayed here, but after unpacking & a cold beer I walked 100 metres from my room & there was the most stunning beach on the island. The room itself isn't too bad but if you like clean, ripped, hard beds then this is the place for you. The road into this hotel is poor, unsurfaced & very bumpy (not suitable for elderly people) Pool area is pretty bad, as you can see from the photos it's very small, limited sunbeds (8 but 2 were broken) but the pool is very warm. Food/reception area you eat in the reception, only ate breakfast once as couldn't sleep most if the night due to the hard beds so missed it most days. Wouldn't come back to here

Für den Preis ist es ok. Sehr ruhig aber abgelegen. Manchmal kein Strom und wenig Wasser. WLAN sporadisch

I have been here for four nights. This place is located at probably the best beach of the island. The apartments are very simple and more or less acceptable. Not acceptable ist the cleaning staff and the restaurant. We had to cleanup the bathroom bin by ourselves and half of the stay the room has not been cleaned at all. The breakfast which was booked is terrible and the cocktails at night tasted really bad. However, of you need to stay one night in a cheap apartment, you can consider this apartment house. For a little longer this is not a choice.

Très beau environnement ,plage et piscine super, taxi cher pour aller en ville (horaire fixe si vous voulez des prix raisonnable ) restaurant ok mais le personnel de service un peu bizarre !!! Pas de spa, seulement des masseuses

Das Hotel liegt an einem sehr schönen Strand in guter Lage. Die Bungalows sind sehr dicht gebaut, was uns allerdings nicht gestört hat, da wir eines der Strandbungalows in erster Reihe hatten. Das Bungalow an sich war absolut in Ordnung, die Lage war top. Das war aber auch das einzige. Wir sind nicht anspruchsvoll und waren auch als Backpacker unterwegs, dieses Hotel haben wir uns zum Schluss unserer Reise "gegönnt", aber im Endeffekt war es 3x so teuer wie alle anderen Hotels und 10x so schlecht. Das Hotelpersonal ist halt da, aber mehr auch nicht, man merkt es dann, wenn einem bei Regen die (wasserdichte) Matte auf der Liege kommentarlos unterm Allerwertesten weggerissen wird. Wir hatten das Gefühl, in einer gefühlskalten, anonymen Massenabfertigungsanlage zu sein. Hauptsache Geld kommt rein, der Rest ist egal. Da kann es schonmal extrem widerlich aus der Küche riechen (Hundescheiße?!), wahrscheinlich kostet ein Putzlappen zu viel. Da hatten wir sehr sehr viel herzlichere und angenehmere Hotels vorher! Und die hatten nicht angebliche 3 Sterne, sondern max 1 oder 2 und waren dafür aber sehr sauber, fair und herzlich. Das im Preis enthaltene "Frühstück" ist eine Frechheit. Ich esse normalerweise nicht viel, aber von einem halben Ei und zwei Scheiben Toast werde auch ich nicht satt. Eine Scheibe mehr kostet natürlich extra, wer hätte es gedacht. Wem die Profitgier der Besitzer und Anonymität nichts ausmacht, kann sich hier am sehr schönen Strand und der guten Lage erfreuen.

Obwohl wir für 10 Nächte bezahlt haben, sind wir nach 7 abgereist und haben das Geld verfallen lassen. Nie wieder würde ich dieses Hotel buchen.

Die Bungalows sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr gute Aircondition. Bad sehr unrein ( Schimmel),sowie nach jeder Dusche Überschwemmung im Bad. Frühstück war dem Preisniveau angepasst. Sehr schöner Strand. Wir hatten aber eine Woche sehr hohe Wellen ( rote Flagge). Nicht weit ins Dorf wo es Essmöglichkeit und Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt.

I've stayed here on numerous occasions. The location is great right on the beach. It is however starting to look a bit worn around the edges now. The pool is still great though.
