完全沒有不滿的地方。

スタッフのおもてなしが最高でした。

細かな心遣い。なんでも先回りして、心のこもったサービスをしてくれる。夕食の時に担当の方にポロッと今年に結婚したと話したところ、部屋に帰ったらサービスで白ワインとワイングラス、メッセージカードが布団を敷いてもらうのと合わせて用意されていた。心が温まった。 その他、食事、部屋の設、どれも文句なし。

Located in the town of Takachiho, with its dramatic gorge, shrines and nightly traditional dance performances, this moderately expensive ryokan features lovely gardens and excellent food. Our room was comfortable with a private outdoor hot spring bath with its own traditional garden. The hotel is owned and run by a family that makes sure that every detail is correct. They provided us with transport to the dance, which was good fun and, at our request, provided folding stools to sit on during the performance in place of having to sit on tatami mats.

The only thing we didn't like was that they seemed to insist that, before dinner and the dance, my wife come to the office to chose a kimono and have a staff member accompany her back to the room to tie the obi properly, and I was likewise encourage to wear my yukata. At dinner that was fine, but at the dance, we found ourselves to be the only people in traditional dress while everyone else was in normal street clothes! We think the ryokan should make the dress arrangements more of an option, rather than an obligation.

המקו קסום. בית הארחה מסורתי אבל עם כל הפינוקים הנדרשים שהופכים את המקום לחוויה בלתי נשכחת. החל מהצוות, החדרים, האמבטיה, ארוחת הערב והבוקר המדהימים, השירות היוצא דופן ותשומת הלב לכל בקשה ולכל הפרטים הקטנים. ללא ספק רגע השיא של הנסיעה שלנו.

אהבנו הכל. היה קשה לעזוב. מקווים לחזור שוב.

Most beautiful room, onsen and gardens. The food is delicious. The staff could not do enough and Yuki is a delightful kind host.

Tutto eccezionale. Ospitalità ed accoglienza, tanti servizi disponibili, cena e colazione eccellenti. La camera era immensa. Location spettacolare. L'onsen privata all'aperto era incredibile!

The photos on booking.com did not match the room. Rather they used photos across two different rooms meaning we got a different room than expected. Still good, but not what we expected.

Das Ryokan Shinsen ist ein Traum an Authenzität japanischer Kultur und Gastfreundschaft. Es war uns eine Freude uns darauf einzulassen und zu genießen. Die Menschen vor Ort sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind grundsätzlich nicht ganz einfach was Essen angeht, zwei von uns sind Vegetarier, und man hat uns das leckerste Essen gezaubert!
