Great location to visit views in DC. Although it is old, you can be deeply impressed.

Generally OK, but basic. Old building, amenities missing, for example no glasses, no fridge; basic TV, old furniture. For two nights it did the job. Longer stay not recommended.

We were looking for a hotel for under $100 per night in DC and our only options were the Baron or a Motel 6 in a sketchy-looking neighborhood. I am so glad we chose the Baron. The rooms were clean and modern. Housekeeping made our beds and replaced our towels every day. The air conditioning unit kept the room cool despite the heat and humidity outside. The location is perfect near Dupont Circle and many restaurants. The room was extremely quiet and relaxing. The shower was modern, easy to use, and had good water pressure. The only negative to this hotel was that every day we kept having to go to the front desk to get our keycard re-programmed since for some reason it would never open our door when we got back from our adventures for the day. That aside, I highly recommend the Baron Hotel.

It was a great experience for the price. Very comfortable and clean. No refrigerator in the room but not complaining. It was certainly worth the price.

It was okay! It’s definitely an older place and could use some deep cleaning BUT it was overall okay and felt safe. I was surprised with a $150 deposit when we checked in.

Central location made exploring DC easy.

Bed was a bit wobbly.

The location is great, 20 minutes walk from the White House, in a beautiful residential area, close to Dupont Circle and many embassies. The room was comfortable, with the necesary equipment (no fridge though) and the price reasonable. The staff was available and helpful, some were really nice.

Slight smell of cigarette in the (non-smoking) bedroom, which went away after a couple of days of heavy ventilation. No breakfast and no fridge. A collective coffee equipment downstairs and a (very slow) kettle. A water fountain would be nice to fill personal bottles.
